Backstage at an event and they asked who my hero was growing up. I shared that, and here's the 30 questions I asked him before he died:
Life Interview Questions (to ask your loved ones before they are gone):

What didn't I cover in this 7 minutes? Well, they asked me who "was" my hero growing up. Today, it's a little different, since Dad is gone. It's Mom. She was right there, as you see, and still is. She still lives each day with joy and more love than anyone I know. She's at all of my events, caring for and connecting so many members of our tribe.

I've always been blessed with strong and loving women in my life, from my mom and sister, to Linda Ballew my high school journalism teacher, to my incredible wife, Denise. More episodes with their stories coming soon.

I lost my dad to kidney failure. It sucks not to have dad around. My mom isn’t around either. I did have my grandma which helped a lot. I think soon she will pass away… it’s up to me to move forward now

  11. Thanks for sharing the wisdom of a good life looking back reflectively. My Father’s values conveyed on a cassette tape of hinself reciting the Constitution — how he cherished the freedom and affirmation of God and mankind embodied in that document.

Thank you so much for this Mr B. I lost my dad suddenly 2 years ago to a heart attack at the age of 58… I didn’t expect to be without him so soon, there is so much more I would’ve asked him… 🙁

Thank you so much Brendon. I just realized how I am loosing touch with my mom, and how little I know about her and her feelings, and dreams and what she thinks about life. I will definitely interview her.
