At least but not at best….if you have to take additional artificial “supplements” then its not natural… while you support the natural you contradict it… your body is still young… eventually it will begin to deteriorate… probably in your 40s or 50s… and besides B12 there are a range of others… Good luck… still like to watch your yoga videos

haha how about I show my blood test. Also did you know that neither plants or animals make vitamin B-12. Bacteria in the soil make this vitamin which so happens to be not in but on plant based foods. so eat enough fresh fruits and veggies and you will be golden.

I too hope that Clinton’s articulate, ‘coming out’ as a vegan will influence many, re -benefits of refraining from killing animals. *You* are surely your fathers’ best inspiration for a change in lifestyle habits! My parents, old school in 80’s, learned sun salutations from me, beautiful! I love being raw vegan. Currently on day 2 of water fast! But I’m thinking perhaps yoga practitioners need a bit of (chocolate!!) dairy = increased endurance due to the purification process we undergo. Namaste!

  7. I am sorry to hear that you had experience with when you tried to be a vegan. Sometimes we can do wrong as a vegan if we do not doing the vegan thing real well (by staying low in fat, low in salt, more fresh fruits and vegetables everyday but most important enough calories -potatoes, rice, grains, bananas) I never had any cholesterol issue as a vegan. b12 deficency is even not any animal related whatsoever. It’s because our fruits and veggies are just too clean these days 🙂 Give it another try?

  8. LOL, poor you, sorry to hear you have the information wrong…by miles off. our bodies deteriorate and then regenerate everyday, vegan or not. besides B12 doesn’t derived from animals at all. Supplements are depends on what we haven’t able to absorb. Surely no need any supplement (except B12) if our bodies can take the fruits, vegetables and nuts we can afford to buy/grow our own 🙂

  9. Hello Kino I am so happy for you and that you spread this news telling everybody 🙂 I also would say Cliton isn’t the best example to follow as a vegan. But it’s a great start. I am so happy for you and hope to see you live happily for years to come. :o) I will watch your other videos that’s for sure

  10. I am vegan, and I think my yoga practice really benefits from it. I recently have made the decision to cut back on heavy glutens, heavy carbs. My practice has improved AMAZINGLY! I came home from school last week and my carb intake increased because it’s the holidays and my dad makes some killer bread, and let me tell you, my yoga practice has SEVERELY suffered! Try going vegan! It is amazing, going on 5 years, and also try lessening your gluten intake! You’ll feel really great! Love you!

  11. Ten years in, recently had a mega full pannel…if it is in the body it got checked.
My iron was normal range, thyroid normal, protein above normal, B12……1500,
    normal is between 450-950.
I do not take any suplements, but I do juice and do sea vegies, 80% raw in summer, not much less in winter but I do love my potatoes.
From what I gather, people who are low on vegan were or are low on traditional too.
    Just my two bucks.

totally agree with you, being vegan is a spiritual path, the way he lives is the best example of a psychopath ( meaning all the people he killed under his administration years) , Not a vegan . He needs a diet that matches his thoughts…..

Semi-sweet chocolate does the trick for me, not too sweet and not too bitter. 🙂

B12 deficiency is something like 30-40% of the population, vegans are 1% of the population, it is not just a vegan problem. Meat and dairy and processed foods are all fortified with B12 and other supplements. There is a lack of B12 in the soil, due to a lack of Cobolt along with other reasons.
Plant based vegan might have to supplement B12 as they don’t eat the processed fortified foods. Get ur calories on a high fruit and veg diet with a some nuts and seeds you will get all of your nutrients.

The china study is awesome, also ‘The 80/10/10 diet’ by Dr Doug Graham for a high fruit raw plant based diet, or google Dr John McDougall (high starch, cooked plant based diet).
I do mostly 80/10/10 with some cooked starches here and there and have cured chronic fatigue and adrenal issues, I have more energy than I ever have. I was vegetarian for 10yrs and then vegan but I have never felt as good as when I when mostly raw and plant based. It’s a whole new level of consciousness.

  16. sure kino GO VEGAN!

  17. there is plenty of delicious chocolate with coconut sugar ~ plus veganism is not about us its about THEM

Most definitely go vegan! When you consume dairy you are contributing to the Veal market.

Definitely go Raw Vegan! I’ve been for two years now and never felt better. The best I’ve ever looked and felt was going on a seeded watermelon only fast for over a month! The best food energy is in fruit! It seems as time goes on with this diet the less nutrition from food you require to function. I think pretty soon I will transition to Liquidarian and then ultimately Breatharian! Namaste!
