Well said Kino! I can’t believe anyone told you that you couldn’t do certain postures when you were a newbie. Outrageous! And so short sighted. I had the same when I came to dancing very late but I proved all the doubters wrong too. My short but very sweet career culminated at the Royal Opera House in London before I ‘retired’ the pointe shoes. Yoga has been with me since childhood though and through this life and past lives and any future lives to come, it is my first love. Om shanti!

So true! I started a regular yoga practice 4 years ago unable to touch my toes and with all sorts of aches and pains. Today, I feel great and so much younger/healthier than I did back then. Last year I started an Ashtanga mysore practice and I continue to be amazed at my slow and steady progress. I look forward to enjoying this practice for many decades to come. The seemingly impossible can become reality! 🙂
