Imagine a workplace where people of all colors and races are able to climb every rung of the corporate ladder — and where the lessons we learn about diversity at work actually transform the things we do, think and say outside the office. How do we get there? In this candid talk, inclusion advocate Janet Stovall shares a three-part action plan for creating workplaces where people feel safe and expected to be their unassimilated, authentic selves.

    Yeah, no.

  2. Here is a tip: Diversity and Inclusion doesn’t matter in the work place. You go with the best person for he job. Otherwise, you are picking people solely on there race…

    • What if they are black and qualified? That didn’t work in Dumas, AR … no, no, they wanted ME to have a blonde dingbat instead of the black girl with a degree in marketing. She was so dumb I finally told her that if anyone called and wanted to know what day it was, ask who is your agent? And transfer the call. And yet .. I would hear her say, “Well, it should be covered under your umbrella!” You can’t fix stupid. Bud Bulloch got most of it right — not all, but most. At least he’s trying .. I don’t know about the rest of you.

    • James Randorff If you are running a business and you don’t know what qualities are best for the future you won’t be running that business very long

    • +Pan-European National Conservative Sure… It’s nothing to do with the Berlin Conference, legacy of imperialism, white supremacy, etc.. you can’t really be that ignorant, can you?? Where’s Ashton..

byoutifulmusic Ireland suffered 1000 years of foreign occupation and repression of the English, yet today they are one of the most developed nations in the world. What you are claiming amounts to nothing more than excuses given other nations that were under colonialism have one perfectly fine, such as Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia and South Korea. But of course Africans can’t get ahead despite being the least colonised region for the least amount of time it can’t get ahead, if that’s true I think you’re making my point for me.

  3. Let’s play the race card.

  4. How about MERIT? How about a true EDUCATION – not INDOCTRINATION? How about telling the TRUTH?

    • Pan-European National Conservative // 13th September 2018 at 7:48 pm // Reply

You naive fool, didn’t you know it’s 2018. Merit who needs that when you’re an LGBT woman of colour.

    • JPH FOREX Many people who believe in diversity will call your comment racist you know the playing field is not equal so you must be racist. Of course you’re coming is accurate but you will be called a racist for it that is called diversity

    • Keith Cindy Panama // 13th September 2018 at 8:01 pm // Reply

Indocunation is the education. You’ll have to private not public education

    • How clumsy of me. How downright…..asinine of me to even questions this….I should…be punished – then again – maybe..not.

  5. diversity should be organic not forced to fight some idiots ideology.

    • Forced diversity is tyranny

    • Sherry,
your judgement is that I have a closed mind and this makes you sad.
how you feel is irrelevant. Can you provide evidence to support your judgement?
BTW when it comes to tyranny, my mind is closed.
if you’re an atheist, then isn’t your mind closed to the god delusion?

    • Stephen Catton Forced anything is tyranny

    • I’m not getting notifications for my first comment (where I responded to Sherry Dee) in this thread. Strange. Can anyone see my first comment or just this one? Has it been shadowbanned?

    • Principal Audio // 13th September 2018 at 10:28 pm // Reply

Yep, my first comment on “Jim Griffiths” account was shadowbanned. Only the second comment I made shows. Can’t see it on this account either. I’ve had enough of YouTube censorship, preventing conversations from happening!

  6. do your job who cares about anyone else race – a black man

  7. This person is a racist and is calling for a race conflict. Think about that.

  8. Madness. People should NEVER get a job because of their skin color or gender or whatever identity. People should get the job because they have the right talent skills knowledge qualifications.
    This is pure garbage.

    • Jay Double Gee how many people you know who such up to get a job promotion… and there were others more qualified…. take race out of it ….

    • Jay Double Gee Most people who believe in diversity will call your comment racist

    • I think there are some niche situations where skin color is an important job factor. Modeling, some niche medical studies, MAYBE policing but I’m not sure.

  9. Picking people based on what race they are is racist.

  10. Lol, seriously they aren’t even trying to disguise their sjw agenda anymore. It’s right in the title now.

  11. The Problem with Forced Diversity is that it is Forced
If an employee is good at what he does it doesn’t Matters whether he is black gay asian or African
    Or even any gender

  12. 5:47 just forget about South Africa it never happened.

  13. Noob4Revolution // 13th September 2018 at 6:37 pm // Reply

God this is so cringe to watch. Plain racism

  14. Hiring someone for their race is RACIST

  15. How would you feel, as a woman, if you knew you were hired just because you had a vagina?
Or, because your skin was a certain color.
You are not hired because you are needed. You are hired to be put on display. Like a rare bird.

  16. Are everyone too scared to tell her, that her policy of systemically excluding non-blacks, is incredibly racist?
Does she not know, that she flipped cause and effect, regarding the benefits of diversity?
Is she unwilling to see, that jamal and Yolanda are statistically more likely to be under qualified, due to positive discrimination?

    • kebakent She is not willing to have a real conversation about black families going out with up with our fathers about black families with children in the prison system she’s not willing to have a true conversation because the bases of your conversation will be considered racist

  17. So obsessed with race and gender

  18. Far Left racism and the ‘Progressive Stack’ strikes again. Do not recruit staff based on immutable characteristics people are born with and have no say over.

  19. I remember when TED Talks were enlightening… She just gave an 8th grade level speech full of falsehoods and gets a roaring applause. The modern day left really shows you how people are doomed to repeat the atrocities of the past. Unsubscribing

    • Stay subbed so you can downvote.

    • I keep my subscription : better to know with which sauce you will be eaten. “Know your enemy” is the basis of everything.

By the way, I lean left. Doesn’t mean I agree with that. There is nuance in everything, the left isn’t a monolith, in the same way the right isn’t.
Though I would agree with you if you are talking about politicians, there are none worth saving, but that’s the case everywhere on the political spectrum.

But I blame the game, not the players, though we have a problem since the players who win are responsible for setting the game, and since they win, they have no incentive to change the game.

    • To be fair sjw’s are just a different side of same coin as trumpanzees, both follow a dogma and react without considering the details of each individual issue.

    • Nonsense.

  20. Krunoslav Stifter // 13th September 2018 at 8:00 pm // Reply

When you put race and gender ahead of competency and character you are either racist and hypocritical about racism, or just plain stupid. Because not only its not efficient in business sense, it’s also dividing people. The opposite of what you think it would do. But it seems someone has been brainwashed to the point that the irony escapes them. What happen to Martin Kuther King dream? It became a nightmare. Good old TED, you can always rely on them to give you front row seats to oppression Olympics or hypocritical kind of racism.
