Democracy can work only if the masses are aware, smart and educated (capable of thinking for themselves and thinking critically).

    • +HeroesFail Non-Whites aka anti-Whites belong in their own peoples created nations. Reality isn’t hard to grasp tbh.

    • This isn’t true, for the same reasons markets don’t need people to know about the supply chain. The information about what needs to change in society is decentralized. Everyone knows what needs to improve, the government doesn’t know. A vote is a signal just like a purchase is to the market.

You can show mathematically that even a well-informed population can make bad collective decisions with the current voting systems we use worldwide.
That is, the voting systems we’ve used everywhere do not aggregate decentralized information properly. But every time it fails, people blame the voters, not the system that aggregates the voter’s information.

There’s nothing wrong about the principle of aggregating unreliable noisy information into a reliable one. We do it all the time in statistics. But in voting, we don’t use systems that can do this properly.

      +Mindprovement I challenge you to consider the following strongly; Democracy is MOB RULE.. if you folks do NOT even comprehend what this means, then you deserve to be scammed by this political scientist, why? Because democracy is ‘majority rules’, now stop for a minute and actually think about that. If a true democracy existed, that means if 51% believed that all disabled people should be put to death, well, it MUST be done because hey, majority is king. Democracy is really Demon-cracy, rule of Demons a.k.a. MOB RULE a.k.a. two wolves fighting over sheep. Why don’t you folks take the time to learn what “DEMOCRACY” actually is in the eyes of those who rule over you? The video linked is by the John Birch Society, an academic high level vanguard organization that knows what “Democracy” truly is;

      Therefore democracy can’t work.
The vast majority of people consistently fail to recognize even the most obvious uses of logical fallacies.

I am extremely skeptical of the idea that any amount of education can fix the level of stupid nearly everyone has.

How do we even know that people even can be made smart? What if it’s possible that the humanity just flat out didn’t evolve to have the majority of people be even capable of being smart?

If people could think for themselves then wouldn’t that mean that there would be no need for hierarchy?

  3. If you think about it we don’t live in a democracy, we live in a representative government, that means that people just can vote once for their politician and from there people has no power anymore, people can’t vote if they want a new law or not. It’s just amazing how governments have tricked us to think we live in a true democracy.
Just see this video https://youtu.be/k8vVEbCquMw, it’s on Spanish but there are English subtitles

Its actually crazy to give the general populous a meaningful vote because the vast majority – myself included – are not qualified to make such decisions. Representative democracy seems like the lesser evil, at least it gives the uniformed masses the impression they have a meaningful say in the running of things.

A true democracy is dangerous. The Constitution is meant to safeguard The People and Law and Order and the Republic. It’s not as simple as saying “do whatever you feel like no worries” as some people feel like becoming fascistic dictators. The checks and balances are meant to assure domestic tranquility and stability. If leftist urban centers flooded their areas of control with illegal voters, allowed to vote and then somehow beat the 80% of the rest of the geographical area of the nation on a vote which says “urban areas make all the decisions about everything, and we are outsourcing your jobs because we can make a ton of money” that is not a recipe for a United nation.

Richard Griffiths They do have meaningful power over the direction of the government… look at Trump. You think the government willingly obeys his every whim? Representatives in DNC want the stress of an impeachment process for giggles and not because of the rabid electorate? It still matters. Second amendment does as well.

    • +Richard Griffiths That’s the plan, but look at the representatives that actually get elected. They also have NO FUCKING CLUE about anything, if not being even more out of touch. Just look at regulation about internet, cryptography, abortion, etc. So that idea clearly has failed.

The REAL problem, then, is how the population elects the representatives. Right now, the representatives DO NOT REPRESENT the population. That’s fundamentally a flaw of the voting system, not of democracy or representative governments.

I think he’s confused, rebuilding communities rather than the religion of citizenship he talks about would be a better path. What is a citizen anyway?

“Civic Religion” ??? Don’t use the distained word – Religion.

    • Martyr4JesusTheChrist // 25th May 2019 at 12:11 am // Reply

The word “religio” etymologically was coined by PAGAN ROMANS circa 2100 years ago from Latin. Authored works of that period show the word used in the context to describe in the greater sense what PAGANS AND HEATHENS DO which is “Some act that a man must do for a ‘god’ or ‘gods’ in order to gain (self) salvation” and with it, it also means “to manipulate by means of deception”, which of course is what ‘religion’ is since ‘religion’ is man’s utterly futile attempt to save himself by his ‘good works’ which he can’t ever, and thus, this is why when the Devil corrupts the ONE AND ONLY FAITH of the Holy Bible that God/Jesus brought to man, it becomes “Religion”, man’s attempt to save himself, truly a deceptive endeavour beyond words. With that definition, when someone asks “What religion are you?” what they really are asking is “How have you been manipulated by means of deception?” It’s pagans and heathens who are into ‘religion’.. not the remnant true Jude 1:1-3 bible believers of every generation who believe in the first century most accurate version of the New Testament pre 150 A.D., just like Jesus laid out would happen (Matthew 7:13-29) . …. therefore .. it’s THE UNSAVED LIKE YOU who subscribe to RELIGION and it is the biggest one in the world.. the worship of SELF which is TRUE satanism.

Therefore it’s pagans and heathens who are the real religionists.

  6. It’s simple: you need to understand that just because a lot of people around you agree with you doesn’t mean the *majority* of the country agrees with you. Also, it’s a REPUBLIC, not a democracy. There’s a difference.

Community does not depend on the color of one’s skin or the religion he subscribes to It depends solely on the moral values we hold to be inviolate. A moral person can and will work together with other moral people to the betterment of the community that they have together created. This community can be a block on a street or a whole neighborhood. It can even be a whole country or group of countries as long as moral values are the strings that attach is to each other. Without morality there can be no trust and without trust there can be no community and until we learn once again how to form communities based on moral values we will remain lost like so many of the commenters here.

  19. _Why democracy does not lead to solidarity, prosperity and liberty but to unrest, runaway spending and a tyrannical government._

“Democracy is widely considered to be the best political system imaginable. Indeed, it is no exaggeration to say that democracy has become a secular religion. The largest political faith on earth. To criticize the democratic ideal is to risk being regarded an enemy of civilized society. Yet that is precisely what Karel Beckman and Frank Karsten propose to do. In this provocative and highly readable book, they tackle the last political taboo: the idea that our salvation lies in democracy. With simple, straightforward arguments they show that democracy, in contrast to popular belief, does not lead to freedom, civilization, prosperity, peace, and the rule of law, but the opposite: to loss of freedom, social conflict, runaway government spending, a lower standard of living and the subversion of individual rights. In just 102 pages they debunk 13 great myths with which democracy is usually defended. What is more, they offer an appealing alternative: a society based on individual freedom and voluntary social relations. Do you wonder why government keeps growing bigger and the public debt keeps getting higher, while your freedom and prosperity look ever more threatened? After reading his book, you won’t wonder anymore – you know why it is happening and what can be done about it.”
