Alex picks apart people’s looks and calls people a lot worse than “rat” every day. These entertainers are definitely hyper-partisan, but it seems like Alex was trying to find racism where it didn’t exist (it also shows he didn’t do his homework, given that he just assumed Nunes was Hispanic, given his surname).
