Both violated the policy and spirit the Unruh Act, the Lanham Act, Business and Professions Code § 17200, the California Constitution (art. 1, secs. 2 & 3), the Federal Constitution (amends. I and XIV), “Breach of Implied Covenant of Good Faith and Fair Dealing,”
and the U.S/CA Supreme Court decision of _Pruneyard Shopping Center v. Robins,_ 447 U.S. 74 (1980).
The court held that a private company cannot infringe on peaceful free speech at public access areas. Youtube is completely public access, and advertises as a speech platform where “you” get to decide what to view/upload.

@ Golden Apple In most cases anyone suing google is going to be looking at hefty legal costs.
However, in cases like this one it’s going to be nigh impossible for Google to defend against it – it’s a pretty clear infringement of free speech rights. Google are very unlikely going to be able to drag it out and try wear down their opponents in legal fees.
Tech giants got a lot of protections from Obama but this area isn’t one of them, so Google will attempt to settle this one very quickly and then try to bury all mention of it.

Many years back I predicted these days were coming, before it was a matter of warnings.
Seems to be the channels I’m interested in getting blocked, even the ones I don’t agree with, but are useful to hear a differing point if view. We need to keep being able to access all points of opinion.

Scooter Blalock , Who’s hired and who is served are two different things, private businesses can serve whoever they want and refuse services. They can also refuse to hire unqualified people. Not serving or hiring someone for political reasons hurts a business in the free market, and a business like that will die. They’re missing out on business you dumbass, the point of running a business is making money, and small businesses can’t afford to turn down customers because they lose money.

Private companies can enforce rules and refuse service to those who break those rules. Also, youtube is a free service and you have to agree to their terms and conditions, that gives them more freedom to refuse access to people who break their rules.

Avoid Paypal, they have already shown their hand and tried to block accounts of conservatives or those who try to tell the truth. .
One of the recent ones being PeterSweden, the journalist from Sweden who is calling out the Swedish government on their migrant problem. Paypal shut down and locked his account back in January. They say his account was being permanently shut down for breaching their terms, but failed to specify which rule he supposedly broke.
It was most certainly a political move, and probably involved the Swedish government as well.
