Good morning from New Mexico! Regina is so right! A multi-generational cycle of abuse in the broken family system! Arrested development in the abused child who grows up & stays a child emotionally as an adult. It produces narcissists then psychopathy and the feeding frenzy continues on the family members(co-dependents) who did not lose their empathy and do not abuse! Is there a choice? Victim or perp? I don’t give a damn what happened to you as a child(just like me) As an adult you must take personal responsibility! My rude awakening was brought on by realizing I was surrounded by psychopaths(all my life) sucking the life from me and my ex! His psycho/narc 3 sisters, my own psycho/narc/jezabel mother and her king ahab and all the family enablers! It is a daily battle fighting rejection, resentment and bitterness! Do not want to turn into a monster to fight these monsters! The cycle of abuse keeps turning…Thank you David for your lectures. “Ye shall have the truth [truth will hurt] and the truth will make you free”! Still rattling my cage at 59 ; }
