Amen. While the only thing constant is change, we can’t change another. Attempting to do so results in exactly what you said, resentment and frustration for both of you! Connecting with high school chums on facebook 25 years later is a firm testimony of this, y’are who y’are! And y’were who y’were back then. Time only solidifies this and reveals its truth exponentially. We become MORE of what we are with time. Personal desire for true transformation, I found, is possible only with Christ.
