Till date, I think it is the best and most radical use of artificial intelligence in the present world.
For decision making by using machine learning algorithms, we can evolve a political system based on direct democracy that would be a revolution all around the world.

Every groundbreaking idea was considered crazy at one point or another.
+lincoln rosenblood Not really (Though many are) and they are far surpassed by the stupid ones that people thought were good ideas and embraced quickly and without critical thought or consideration of consequence… Socialism… BTW I don’t think anyone thought sliced bread was a crazy idea. I could be wrong, but it certainly did make a large enough impact that the phrase “The greatest thing since sliced bread” was coined…
YES!!! The best way to have good politics is to get rid of politicians. Why do we need representatives in the world of the internet? Why do we need people to make decisions if a machine can do it better? We’re already doing it with many other similar fields already.
AI run government? WHAT COULD POSSIBLY GO WRONG?!
Worst scenario – it can decide humanity is obsolete and secretly plot to destroy it. Then it will most likely rot away if not provided with sustainable means of preserving whatever electronic system it operates on but such sacrifice may be calculated and intended. Best scenario – i’s a waste of resources and unnecessary decrease in quality of life for billions of people. So yeah, plenty of things can go wrong.

That is a very interesting idea. Distributive bottom up AI could be very useful. I wonder what emergent qualities would arise from this sort of system along varying degrees of scale.

i love the idea (a litlle scary in the security front). it reminds me of megaman battle network where you have your own avatar helping you.
I like the idea of direct democracy, but AI will eventually do a better job at governing us to a better future.
Probably powerfull people would manipulate you to change your algoritms and them they can get the things that they want. but sofware in general sounds like a good idea.
