XPRIZE Feed the Next Billion is four-year competition that incentivized teams to produce chicken breast or fish fillet alternatives that replicate or outperform conventional chicken and fish in the following categories: access, environmental sustainability, animal welfare, nutrition and health, taste and texture.

In July 2021, XPRIZE Feed the Next Billion announced 28 semifinalists. Winners are projected to be announced in 2024.

The one thing that comes to mind is how about our taxes dollars go to helping feed those that need it and not pay handouts to war mongers and crooked political leaders, if we did that and focus on actually doing good for humanity we would be unstoppable.
Stop paying bums and start feeding children. Corporate companies should be required to donate money directly to organizations that support world hunger without requiring customers to download apps and scan products. It should be done directly based on quarterly sales if they are going to run a world hunger campaign within their company.

indeed, you watch those travel videos and the poorest of the poor eat very well, a myth there is “world hunger”, if anything Tony you should work on “world obesity” and the stop of the Food Giants / Coke Cola from killing everyone with their filth for profit.

We as people already producing plenty of good nutritious food for everyone, problem is distribution, walmart and other companies throw away perfectly good food,
Every warehouse hires dumpster haulers to throw away food, in our area blosenski trucking hauling to waste yard.
There are no food shortages. Only bad distribution. I see rotten fruit on the ground underneath fruit trees. Teach people how to eat healthy foods without processed foods.
