While in college I did a stretch with an environmental NGO in Brazil for a summer. And you aren’t kidding about just how horrible these people are. The sexual escapades were rampant. Their lack of any genuine caring for locals is actually the reason I left early.
There was a LOT of “massaging the data” going on to make it fit into the “right ideas.” Moreover most of them are just cowards. They genuinely hate anyone with any real skill.
