He is just ok with bump stocks being pointless, since they are getting banned already in states without president’s approval, and Trump also agrees that background checks should be better enforced if we have background checks implemented already. The system failed here in getting this shooter on some background check when he bought his guns. That’s all Trump is proposing which already exists. He didn’t sell out anything on 2nd amendment. Even the NRA is on board with this pretty much. NRA said same thing as Trump, which is blame background checks and not the guns.

I keep hearing it’s so easy to just go out and buy a gun and actually you have to fill out papers and have a background check…which would show that the “bad guys” will always be able to get a gun from somewhere and commit horrific crimes. So the upstanding citizens that have guns shouldn’t be an issue at all..we need them to protect our family! ! The 2nd ammendment needs to be left alone, don’t punish innocent ppl because of this, that guy could have a knife or an explosive device just as easy as he had a gun
