Trumps scheduled DACA renewal deadline is tomorrow March 5th 2018, however Democrats have successfully postponed the deadline with a California judges ruling. The Trump administration is now forced to appeal the halt put on his deadline for the expiration of DACA which won't be heard until June. It's likely that Trumps appeal will be granted however the Democrats might be able to drag the hearing out in order to postpone the inevitable destruction DACA. Trump and Republicans have extended a hand to come together on a DREAM Act which would also need to include boarder security but the Democrats unreasonable refuse to give an inch.

If you actually read what was in the lawsuit, it wasn’t that Trump was breaking any laws, but “that Trump didn’t provide ‘sufficient explaination” as to why he was ending DACA.
With ‘sufficient explanation’ being open to whatever interpretation you want to give it. Democrat lawyers could easily just call any explanation given by Trump as insufficient.
And then the Democrat plaintiffs and their allied SJW judge all chucked a hissy fit over Trump’s supposed comment “why can’t we have more people from Norway”. They used that to rule that Trump’s ending of DACA was racial discrimination. as he was ending DACA which mostly benefits Mexicans/non whites, but apparently wanting people from Norway which is mostly white people.
That was the twisted logic they had to pull just to get this case through.
The case is going to be tossed out the moment it gets to the supreme court, but you can bet the Dems are going to delay it as long as possible so they can come up with some other stupid plan in the meantime.

They don’t have “more power” we have a system called checks and balances. The judicial branch checks the legeslative and executive branches and vice versa. The executive branch can keep taking this to as many courts as they want all the way up to the Supreme Court. It takes awhile, and of course the SC won’t hear a case unless it’s been through the other courts, but that’s the way our system has been working for over 100 years. If you haven’t learned this in middle school or high school then it’s time for you to hit the books and do some research on the basics of our government.
