You hate communism, but you want a wall like the great wall of communist china??? Don’t you understand they’ve been tunneling underneath for years several times?? It’s a total waste of tax money. They also fly to Canada and cross the Canadian border here. That’s been going on for years too! China built the wall to defend against the monogolians.
What is a waste of tax money is letting hundreds of thousands, maybe millions, walk in across an unprotected desert. It’s a waste of my and your money to take care of these multitudes that enter the US illegally by walking right in, just like they own the place. A wall would make entry difficult. Security makes it hard for the lawbreaker. And no matter how you “feel” about it, immigration law is being broken. Sure there would be tunnels but instead, just for arguments sake, a million coming in a year with no wall, you’d get 10000 coming in through tunnels. Regarding your “fly to Canada” comment, yeah let them do it, the numbers would be minimal and that is not an argument..
Your argument is weak, it is similar to people breaking into houses, so why lock your doors? They will come in anyway so, no locks, no windows, just leave your house wide open. Ridiculous. Criminals will always find a way to commit crime if their will is strong enough no matter what the safeguards are. But is the answer to just give in and let them do what ever they want? No, you lock your house and I lock mine.
What really needs to be done, to protect the country, both you and me, is secure the border first. DACA and whatever else ICE and BP are doing right now, keep doing it. Let the dreamers dream for now, the laws are already on the books and we may not need any new ones. To me, it’s not worth changing any policies internally regarding illegal immigrants while the border is wide open and others are flowing in. It’s like bailing out your boat with a dixie cup. You’ll never keep up. To me, immigrants are welcome, legally, and must be vetted. One can’t just come here, illegally enter and get welfare medical, free schooling and start their new life living on my and your dime. It is not supposed to work that way.
The wall needs to be first to get a handle on the influx. Then we can start bailing out the boat.

Hey InfoWars , please do some research on the underground mine fire in Centralia PA . The government basically let a small fire grow out of control then claimed it was uninhabitable then took an entire town from the people . Now our gov owns one of the largest coal enriched chunks of land in the US worth billions !!! Sorry I am for the wall .And I think the wall should be fully completed before any deal on immigration to prevent mass illegal immigration flows that follow immigration deals . Mexico will pay for the wall in the long run by all that drug money being removed from their economy .

That 100 billion dollar wall will stop nothing. All the rich people looking for cheap labor to cut grass and pick fruits and vegetables will find ways to get that cheap labor. That ridiculous wall will need maintenance forever which will run American into even more debt, trillions. The Guadalupe hildalgo treaty. Look it up. Mexico is in flagrant violation of it and the US is well within its rights to enforce the terms of the agreement. This includes building a wall.

Our tax dollars are much better spent on the wall than the billions wasted on illegals. Don’t worry, once its’s built, we’ll get our money back by charging fees to get in at legal border crossings and taxing money sent back to Mexico by workers on visas.

Thanks…but Its pretty easy to defend the idea of a border wall. After all its the definition of having a country. The wall has only to do with citizens of other countries not respecting our border. All politicians that obstruct the wall are representing the citizens of other countries instead of the citizens of this country that they are obliged to represent. They should all be hung immediately. If this government can not serve its primary purpose witch is to defend its citizens against invasion then it is totally defunct and should be dissolved immediately.
There is a BIG difference between Europeans that have emigrated at start of the century to the USA and 3rd World immigrants coming here today. Let’s not fool ourselves.

The majority of immigrants also had to have permission from their government, and our government after the 1780s, plus funding to pay for their transit and living expenses (most were poor and paid through indenture, whether forced or by choice). Many early colonists were brought to the Americas as convicts. Even the Columbus crew had to have permission and funding to sail west.
