Totally think we should have a parade! I was in the military parade during fleet week in NYC a couple times and everyone loved it! After the parade we went and talked with the people watching the parade, actually signed autographs, we got to let kids sit in the different vehicles we had there. It was a blast for everyone. I had my daughter who was 2 with me after the parade and a family that didn’t speak English, pointed to their camera then at my daughter and I so I went and took pictures with them. They came on a Japanese tour bus and were having a wonderful time. It really boosted morale for those in the parade and those watching

Now listen Jed, I don’t know of anyone who wants our Troops in the Middle East. I think this is something everyone can agree on.
The democratic ‘elites’, ie- media, politicians, corporations- they do hate our military. There are plenty of examples, their own words, that prove this. Do a little research. Just a few days ago, the MSNBC lady spoke against military, family, Church and police.
And our military is for everyone, so you comparing what the military does to a child’s hand painting, shows how little respect you do have for our military.. Keeping an entire nation safe, is not even the same thing as a 5 year old doing a hand painting. And the military is like the nation’s ‘nephew’, so everyone should be proud enough to want ‘show off the hand painting’.

The reason Obama and Bush went to those 3rd world hellholes with no worries of getting killed, was due to they were in bed with the ‘terrorists’. Trump is smart not to go there, he isn’t in bed with the dictators as past presidents were. I do not want Trump to go to Afghanistan, or any other 3rd world nation that is a war zone. Too risky. CNN are idiots, I think a parade is to support the US military, and to help bring back American pride and patriotism. I think it would be nice. Look what Trudeau said at a town hall meeting, to a Canadian soldier that lost his leg,shameful. Trudeau gave a muslim terrorist 10 million which was a slap in the face to kids who lost their father to that terrorist . Our military people is what keeps us all free and we all need to respect them. The idiots at CNN just want to show disrespect for anything that is American. Look what Joy Reid said about God and Family and the way life was in the good old days. She made it all seem evil. The old ways may not have been prefect, but families where together, church bells rang on Sundays and people could leave their front door unlocked. I will take the 50’s over what we have right now.
Not a bad idea if it’s to support and honor our military. I have mixed feelings about it, but it all depends on how Trump sees it. No harm in showing we have a strong military defense. But I’m sure other nations might see it in a different perspective , but it’s our country and they can just whine as much as they want. It’s always something these days.

We get taught drill in basic. I had to do hours of drill for a 3 hour graduation ceremony we have parades every graduating class we arn’t embarrassed we will gladly do this for commanders admirals generals cornels even for our president those libs ar me so out of touch they don’t even know how the military conducts themselves
