The Congressional Baseball Shooting that occurred on June 14th of last year is a viable example of how guns in the Right Hands save lives and prevent all these psychopathic shooters from taking innocent lives; James Hodgkinson was unsuccessful in killing any Republican congressman that day because there were ARMED security guards that took him down before he could do any lasting damage.

Yes. It occurred last year on June 14, 2017. It was a charity Congressional Baseball Game in Alexandria, Virginia with congressman attending and playing. The shooter, James Hodgkinson, was reported to have been scoping the scene out and was asking where the Republican congressman baseball players were located shortly before he opened fire. One congressman was shot and injured, but not mortally. No lives were lost that day because there were guns in the Right hands; In the hands of the security guards at the event.

There is no such thing as gun control in reality. Only gun confiscation followed by tyranny. If you’re over 18 or not in prison, then you should be able to own a firearm and without a background check. No if, ands, or buts.

I live in Australia and we have had gun control since 1992.
We are still able to purchase guns only they cannot be semi automatic or hold more than 5 bullets.
So, I have two rifles , both 5 shot bolt action for deer , pigs etc.
In fact there are now more guns in the community than before the massacre that caused the government to change the laws.
So, in your strange and stupid world any nut case could walk in to a gun shop and buy a 40 shot semi auto without a background check to see if you have a history .
Well, in a much saner country like Australia we do have background checks and we do have to sit a firearms license test .
We also have to keep the guns in a gun safe to deter theft.
All firearms must also be registered
We have not had another massacre and firearms deaths have dropped enormously and guess what, most people feel safer and do not believe their rights have been denied them.
Funny isn’t it , no tyranny has occurred and our kids are safe to go to school.

The 2nd amendment helps keep us at a stand off with the ruling class. We cannot lay down our weapons.
Lena Romero what we need to do is express to these people that dissolving the 2nd amendment isn’t an option. It literally will not work the way they think it will. I don’t know about anyone else, but I have no plans to ever lay down my weapons and surrender peacefully. I won’t be the aggressor, but I’ll do what ever it takes to protect my family, my property, and my rights.

We can’t give up our weapons because down through history it shows that rulers will eventually go after it’s citizens imposing more and more rules and taking away our freedoms. I had a leftist say to me, “You’re so afraid of losing your guns, aren’t you?” The gun-grabbers sense something like fear, I suppose. What they don’t get is that there are millions of men like me who will not be disarmed without a bloody fight. When they send the message, “We’re coming for your guns.” what I hear is, it’s time to go to war. It’s time to drop everything and prepare to possibly kill/die/leave my kids fatherless. I will not live to see Americans disarmed. And I hope and pray that enough people in positions of power understand the gravity of the situation. The US Constitution is the supreme law of the land. The ideas behind it are sacred to me. I will defend it. The MSM is totally out of touch with Americans. They truly have no idea. Nothing above should be construed as a threat to anyone.
