Trump is…a human being. Look, I have been where you are Alex. I put up a man and made him in my eyes a god and that was unfair for me to do to him personally, and it in the long term cost my country greatly. And yeah, it’s sacrilege. You are committing sacrilege. Just like I did in 1986. Save Trump from Trump. History Rhymes. This is 50 shades of the 1986 immigration scam.
Where it’s not like 1986 is that in 1986 we could afford to lose a big State like California. Reagan got 49 states. Can you really see any Republican get all those states now days? We can’t afford to lose.
I have a picture of us standing right on the edge of a cliff and the Left asking us for “a little bit more” as a compromise. Compromise and down the Cliff we go. It is almost impossible for us to believe that California was indeed once a Republican state. That was before the 1986 Amnesty deal of Reagan’s. California hasn’t been Republican since. History doesn’t repeat itself in exactly the same way. There’s always differences. Here the difference is we don’t have California to sacrifice now. Reagan could afford to lose – we can’t. Which makes this Deal WORSE!
We are in a far more desperate situation now than we were in 1986. Back then I could afford to make the mistake that I and most all other conservatives did back then to “just give Reagan the benefit of the doubt – after all it’s Reagan” We treated Reagan like our personal Jesus. Reagan’s immigration deal was good merely because well, it’s Reagan’s and no one could go against that.
So now people are saying we should give a quite similar plan the “benefit of the doubt” at a more desperate time because well “it’s Trump’s”.
Well “it’s Trump’s” isn’t good enough this time especially given the types of people who have found their way into Trump’s White House. Personnel is policy and I heard that this plan was written by a very pro-immigrant and very anti-Trump individual.
And yeah, it is very, very strange that you can find very anti-Trump people in what is supposed to be a Trump administration. One of the biggest failings of Trump has been the people he has hired on to the White House. I thought he was good at hiring people – boy was I wrong. I guess I thought he was like I saw him on the Apprentice.
If this country is going to be saved (and yeah the jury is still out) Trump has to start saying YOU’RE FIRED more and replace these people with people who honestly believe in MAGA.

I am not. He is the best President we ever have had. So what comes after? That is why the jobs, the stock market all of that doesn’t impress me. That’s great as long as Trump is around but the moment he steps out of office then down all of that goes. I want stuff that will last. Winning against the Soviet Union lasted. The Federal Reserve (if you want to list something bad) has lasted. So what are we going back upon and say, yeah because of Trump that is why things are today?
