I really want to believe that there are patriots in the the FBI, CIA, DOJ, NSA and other government agencies. I really do, but am not convinced. It seems more likely that these intelligence agencies are mostly staffed by situational sociopaths that are terrified of losing their paycheck and willingly check their conscience at the door when they go to work.
