SUMMARY:.
——————–.

When you have big goals, your routines are the wheels on the roadway to achievement. Without keeping the right practices, it's difficult to be a loving human, build your career, or produce or contribute anything extraordinary. But how do you SUSTAIN habits?

I have actually invested my entire career assisting high performers established much better techniques and routines to keep them stimulated, engaged and accomplishing their best. And the most significant trick I've found out in practically 20 years in this field is exactly what I call "trigger moments." Triggers are how you activate the power of habit.

In essence, trigger moments are cues that remind you to activate your intentions or routines.

It's one thing to have the intention to be more kind, client and loving with individuals; it's quite another to set a pointer on your phone that activates you into being that sort of person. It's one thing to want to eat healthier, but another to setup a mental trigger that states, "Each time I drop off my kids at school, I instantly go to the fitness center or drive to the grocery store and purchase fresh produce." A trigger is a "when this thing occurs, then I do or believe that.".

For example, if you want to become more present and calm throughout the day, established three phone alarms to go off throughout the day with a label that states, "Close your eyes, take ten deep breaths in, and remind yourself to be calm." These tips will activate you to enact the brand-new behavior.

Whatever you want to achieve in your life – better health, more energy, more clearness – set a trigger.
