Cyprus hey? I’m not surprised at all. I was on holiday there a few years ago. We were robbed in the middle of the day. Police did nothing!!! Just wrote down what happened and that’s it! Mind you, we gave description if a car and the robbers! And they did not even bother to go to look for them. And was a small place, not a city. What a joke. That holiday cost us double in the end. Not to mention the stress we had. It was the most expensive holiday that we had. It happened near Pathos town. We tell everyone not to go to Cyprus. It is NOT WORTH IT!
@jam 68 Thanks, but we were not hurt, we left the car in a parking place just to look at the beach to see if it was worth staying. And in 2 minutes that we went to look, they smashed the car window and took most important bags. They were sneaky and had a look at us before, then they pretended to leave. We usually very careful on holiday. It wasn’t enough. It looked safe for us to leave a car for a 2 minutes. We missed the signs. that proves that they knew what they were doing, not the first time for them.
Very important lesson: do not rent a car in any country that has number plates different from the local cars. It clearly shows it is a rental car, so you are a target from the moment you get in.

Exact same thing would happen anywhere in the world. Cyprus, Britain, Australia, Spain, France, anywhere. That’s the whole idea. Fake justice. They don’t give a toss.
