Unfortunately, every year is now more damaging than the last. The good news is that we are not at a point of no return. While we will never have the same climate we had before industrialization, we can make a positive impact on the future of climate change by taking action now.

Carbon removal technologies is a must. On a massive scale. Planting trees is not enough. We need a profit based model that would benefit from carbon removal technology.

I’m taking a class in permaculture and it talks about the carbon cycles also. I liked the parallels.
Deniers have their heads buried in the sand and don’t want to take any responsibility and don’t want to change their behaviors and lifestyles. What we all do affect us all and our kids and grandkids. This doesn’t mean getting rid of cows, though. It means letting go of the stupid grains, corn and soy crops and letting the grasslands come back to sequester carbon. The cows help in that process. We can also use the cows nose to tail for food. Much healthier all around for people and planet. Natural!!

For Example: In 2017Christiana Figueres (architect of the process that lead to the Paris Climate Agreement and now vice-chair of the Global Covenant of Mayors for Climate and Energy), says that we only have three years to act .
2018 Harvard Professor James Anderson gave us only 5 years.
2019 UN clinmate report and AOC gave us 12 years.

Does anyone else here, besides me, understand that the SUN is the driver of our jet streams and is about to enter a 400 year “Grand” Solar Minimum possibly an even greater cycle, 3600 or maybe a 6000+ year cycle?? If fact our star goes through many different cycles, some greater than others. There are other factors at play here as well, such as our place in the galaxy and other cosmic rays that play a MUCH larger role in what happens here on this planet we call Earth!
