  1. Excellent, I live in Texas. We need more fruit and veggies combine with healthy fats, and alternative options with almond or coconut flour and the same with milk almond or coconut milk.
We need to bring challenges and reward, the kids love rewards, group challenges to try new things.
If the school offer good foods then they will learn.

  2. This woman is doing great work. Thank you for bringing her to our attention. Please, please, get Joel Salatin of Polyface farms on your show. Also Rob Avis of Verge permaculture.

  3. We won’t have an answer until we admit there is something in the world that is trying to destroy it. The fact is we farm sunlight in every sense and so giving credit where credit is due might be a first step. The hopeful aspect is with broad communication man is able to relay new ideas and concepts and implement these things (as with China’s loess plateau) but then there is also the the risk of running off on a bad idea and implementing that (as with GMOs and Donald Trump.)

  4. Excellent though frustrating conversation – so many obvious reforms being blocked by the food industry, so many wonderful projects not being supported. We urgently need to stop the Business as Usual scheme if we want to be around after 2040.

  5. Thanks to you both for this encouraging conversation about the political future of food in America. Food is the one thing that, if the public is properly educated, can unite us in a common uplifting objective in the next Presidential election. We need to interrupt the intergenerational transmission of food trauma in our culture and your forum is working to do exactly that, Dr. Hyman. Thank you!

  6. OMG Dr. Hyman, I want to like you, I think you’re trying to do good. Please stop interrupting your guests so much. This episode was the worst, you barely let her finish a single sentence!
