You forget the fact that humans beings lack free will, we don’t make our choices, our choices make us, having said we aren’t totally hopeless the more knowledge we acquire the more “freedom” we have, essential skills to develop are willpower, logical thinking and the scientific method. In the end we are just a bunch of atoms and and chemical reactions, the people in power know that and fill our easily manipulated brains with ads, drama and fear.

I disagree on there being no free will, its just a mechanical function, and to prove it all you have to do is chose to do something against what you want to do, usually this is an action that comes from self awareness, where you can see yourself from outside yourself, through a 3D rendering of you and your environment based on your previous experiences, and data collected, and this same process allows for extrapolating future events you can expect with some degree of accuracy, more data, more accuracy further out from that moment in time, and how your actions will effect those events. at that point, if you do something self sabotaging to prove free will you now have your proof, no need for a supreme magic sky ghost to give it to you, nor would such existence even allow for a free will, since those people also believe in predestination. so in short free will is a byproduct of temporal awareness that is an over developed use of the need to calculate trajectory from prehuman states for catching food, avoiding falling, ect. this leads to self awareness at some point for some, and is a latent possibility for all. while we are all atoms in the universe and chemical reactions (which are all electron paring processes to bind electron shells together and break electron shell bonds in others using external energy such as photosynthesis in plants using the suns photons (or some other light source) that charge electron shells causing them to raise to a higher state thus filling voids that were used as an attractor to provide bonding between atoms, which means they can then freely disassociate till the energy state fails and the electron falls back releasing said photon again into its surrounding environment.) we are also a sentient species if we chose to be, and participate *unless there is brain damage or lack of development for some reason that eliminates the neuron connectivity to allow this sentience) you want to prove you have free will? chose to do something that is totally superfluous, that does not benefit you, or might even be a negative impact on your future that you do not want, and see if you can achieve this. if so, congrats you just proved you have free will lol, now exercise it and be more than you would have been with out it.

I’m in the process of trying to escape. I quit my full time job as I found some ways to make some money online and I’m still living with folks so ‘board’ costs less than rent. I work for an agency by choice just doing odd jobs a day or two most weeks, sometimes more, sometimes less. Currently my online earnings are but pocket money compared to a national minimum wage and I am scraping by on almost nothing.
I’m happier and have more time and energy fir things that matter.
However, unless I can turn it into a PROPER wage that can pay the usual crap I’m still a slave scratting for money.
Any REALISTIC advice here?
Knowing we are enslaved is one thing, money making an alternate way to atain freedom is another entirely.
I’m already in crypto and just holding, lost most of what I put in. Oh well.

sparkshot The world economy is still English-spoken, so you have a money-making advantage. Participate in the English-spoken economy but live in a non-English speaking country. If you are still living in the USA, the cost of living/everything will continue to eat you alive because taxes are built into everything to service $21T of debt.
Jim Big – I hear what you are saying. I’m English and live in England, UK though! Our money system is pretty much the same though.
Definitely. Get out of the UK. Try this: find a job you can do online/remote and then move to Sicily or someplace cheap and nice, but in the European timezone area so you can easily manage. I’ve had a lot of European remote opportunities fall through because I wasn’t in a convenient timezone for them. Even scheduling the calls with them was difficult.
My experience is if you hustle, apply online and talk to people regularly by phone, you should be able to find something in about 6-12 months. Even if it doesn’t last it should pay you well enough to get WAY ahead so long as you are living someplace cheap and not in the UK. You may have to conceal that you are living abroad, depending on the company, because these guys don’t like the money leaving their Casino, and are mostly all in bed with each other. But in my experience they don’t look too hard. I always connected to company infrastructure using foreign IPs and no one ever said anything. But I’ll probably use proxies in the future anyway.
Jim Big – I need to look into it. So many options and so much knowledge to accumilate then know how to impliment. Don’t know what online jobs there are as such..
