Yes, they did it’s a long story but Irwin did not accept legal advice and was too arrogant to get help. He’s a hero no doubt, I respect him a lot, I’m just pointing out his mistakes. I’ve had the same concern and researched his trial heavily. Freedom law school is the real deal, check it out. I’ve been completely protected from the IRS
Irwin’s convictions for 1997-2002 were for *filing false tax documents* and what is being advocated in the video is “no self reporting” – big difference.

Other tax protestors call this guy a scam, of course this is common among the tax protestor “industry”, calling each other out as scammers. I’ll believe one of these guys has the magic spell to get the crims at the irs off your back when they start submitting to the public: court room video, transcripts, and full court document loads from successful cases… yet they never do. The closest I’ve seen is Marc Stevens who shows the letters of dismissal he’s received from various cases by challenging jurisdiction.
The only reliable ways out are to make so little it’s not worth coming after you, stay under the radar in a pure cash business and never deal with a bank or credit card, or renounce citizenship. You can also reduce your tax burden considerably by living abroad half the year in countries incapable of enforcing their theft or moving to puerto rico. Of course you really have to be making 50k+ to make living abroad add up in a pure financial sense, the cost of plane tickets, visas, various fees, and the necessity to leave most countries after a few months when using tourist visas means you will spend probably a minimum of 5-10k on travel expenses each year… but still better that money goes to airlines than murderers and thieves.
@Mouse Utopian Ive been studying this topic heavily for three months. Your right, its hard to find any proof. I know there are people doing it. Im just not sure if they are just staying under the radar, or if they legally escaped the proverbial matrix.
Its hard to distinguish between the two, because the results would look the same. The govt would never send you something saying “good job, you did it”.
I do know the theory is legitimate, there is plenty of case law proving this. It seems that the process to achieve true freedom is an ever changing landscape, kind of a cat and mouse game.

I’ve studied the Wesley Snipes case and it turns out he did NOT follow the law systematically like Freedom law school does. The system made an example of him to discourage others and to “scare the sheep.”
@5rc I just seen this Freedom Law and plan to look further into their material and strategy. To be honest it seemed suspect. There are many POS scum taking advantage of others looking for freedom.

The IRS is part of the federal reserve system. A foreign corporation. There’s exists no evidence that any statute or policy applies to anyone. It’s just a criminal enterprise.
