  1. Anytime I’m tempted (which isn’t very often) to consume dairy I think about the fact that cows milk is meant to grow baby cows into full sized cows.

  2. We may be the only animals on the planet who take another animal’s milk, but we’re also the only animals who live in artificial housing, and wear clothes.  Should we stop wearing clothing because no other animal does?  That kind of logic is not based in any kind of science.  As for your other reasons provided, they’re thoroughly debunked in this article that actually bothers to back up its claims with something other than flimsy correlations and pseudoscience not supported by the sources you gave.  http://authoritynutrition.com/is-dairy-bad-or-good/

    • Well I think her point is like you’re taking milk into your system, but you are not putting clothing, and houses into your system. But even animals are building some sort of shelter for themselves, and wear “clothing” they have the craziest fur that we human “wish to have” I mean they do not need to worry about making clothing to not feel cold. They only need to worry about to build “house” shelter.

    • A few reports isn’t going to deflect the fact that it’s unhealthy and theories (not interpretations since they’ve been experimented and etc) have been set to fact of how a lot of people aren’t benefiting from dairy. The outcome of risks over-weighs the beneficial state of dairy consumption.

  3. I love milk! But here in the countryside of Austria, our cow’s milk is all natural, no gene advancement needed. I even get fresh, unpasteurized, organic milk from a local farm. I drink it with care, 1litre milk a week max. , so I personally don’t worry. I think it is just important to look at the quality of the food instead of quantity.

  4. My only problem with milk is that it’s not mine to consume. A mother makes her milk for her baby and the fact that us humans just use it for ourselves is not okay in my opinion. It’s horrible how the industries treat the mother.

  5. I gave up ALL dairy products and my life changed. I had a dairy allergy, but upon further research I discovered how wrong dairy is for our human bodies; everyone. She almost says, but doesn’t, that no other animal ingests another animal’s milk, which is true. To be a healthy human does not require cow’s milk, and to avoid it would be best, from my five years of research.

  6. I agree with Kristina that the current mass produced milk that you find at your local supermarket is slow acting poison; that milk is laced with hormones, artificial additives, and the cows are fed a diet of newspaper, cement, and corn. This makes the milk deadly to the human body, chemically speaking, and what little nutrients is left in that nutritionally annihilated milk isn’t absorbed by your body very efficiently.

But drinking milk that is NON-homogenized and organic and, if you can find it, non-pasteurized, is very beneficial to your health. There are several civilizations around the world that consume raw, organic meat and drink raw milk, particularly goats milk, that have proven to have individuals to live over a century old. A good one is called the Hunzas, who are concentrated in the Himalayan section of Pakistan; men and women alike reach intellectual and physical maturity is their 80’s and people regularly live over 100 years old. Google them and read about their diet.

I respect Kristina as she lives better and eats healthier and most certainly is in better health than 98-99% of the US population but I have to point this out.

    • +Nutritional Chemistry Totally agree !! People should make a difference between the regular milk we find in grocery and the raw milk! I used to think like most of people that milk is bad, etc….but I did a lot of researches and I discover raw milk is very beneficial for health.

  7. When there are grocery stores full of milk alternatives such as rice, soy, and almond milk, why choose regular milk? It isn’t ours to consume. I love this Kristina!

  8. I am a farmer here in Hawaii, we don’t pasteurize our milk and we treat our animals like we would treat our best friend! We let the baby calfs nurse from the mother for 2-3 months straight (then they can be weaned from their mothers milk). Then, we separate the babies at night and milk the mammas in the morning:) We have and will never separate a baby from a mother. Our cows pasture of 23 acres of land and are fed treats and fruits! I only and will ever only drink milk and eat meat off of our farm. Im so glad that I can drink milk and feel happy about it knowing that I snuggle the babies and moms, Let them graze, feed them treats, keep the babies with their moms, let the calfs drink from their mothers for as long as they want, and to drink it whole!

P.S. I have drank cows milk straight from the cows teat, haha!

    • Timeless Vick Wonderful! it sure is! and that’s what the big wigs don’t want everyone to know, or else theyd be out of Their nonesense killing medical establishments .it’s food that is our medicine . true food . it’s all I drink is raw milk . so worth it

  9. Problem is the dairy association is a multi billion dollar organization that can hire 1000 of these info babes to fool everyone again and again.

  10. Cows are starved to give milk? Nothing starved gives milk. Starved beings dry up and lose milk production. Dairy cows are mostly fed hay and silage. Meat cows are fed some really bizarre things, but not so much dairy cows in general.

  11. I’ve been a vegetarian for about a year and I’m thinking about becoming vegan, but I can’t part from dairy. New year, new me!

  12. Also, Kristina, you should look into pasture organic farms where, not only do the farmers treat their animals humanely (as our ancestors originally intended) but who also raise non-GMO fruits and vegetables. You should also know that soy and rice can have detrimental side effects for people’s health. Rice, in particular, has a high arsenic count – again, look it up.
