There was 2 interviews I watched, in which, 2 different students mentioned 2-3 shooters. One girl said she was talking to the guy who supposedly done this, while on the other side of the school she heard gun fire.. she’s either a bold faced liar or the kid they have in custody wasn’t solely responsible. She told him something like, “I figured you would be the one shooting up the school.” And she said he looked at her strangely… so is she a lair?! Or…

They should be demanding school safety and security and parents should be holding the schools to an accountability for protecting our children
these schools could hire homeless vets really cheap and they would easily make those schools safe.
I propose a school safety security tax. A $.01 sales tax as well as a $1 deduction from every paycheck state tax required by all customers, workers and retirees to fund this proposed legislation. They’re too hire trained honorably discharged military veterans, police officers and those with proper training. Just a thought. I also think that the schools and students should be vigilant in recognising troubled youth when the red flags are clearly presented ahead of time. The schools and parents with these troubled kids should demand a psych evaluation and place a can not buy on their personal record until x amount of time.
Vets could put their military training to good use keeping watch. Parents should rightly pull their kids out of schools because of this school shooting pattern. As long as we fail to take responsibility for our children, their lives are at risk in gun free zones. There are way too many guns and people that earn a living in the industry to destroy our inheritance. The NRA can’t do this alone, we have to help our children understand why we must take responsibility for our safety. They HAVE to grow up to be mature and competent adults, or they WILL be child/slaves suffering a bleak existence. For them, they won’t understand what they have lost. They apparently don’t know what they have now.

Douglas Clark I didn’t get that he was blaming video games, he was more commenting on how parents should be more involved with their children’s perception of life because they are being inundated with lies and manipulations. Our world is full of sensory overload, visually, medically, financially and spiritually. We need to step up…lead our children to the right path, give them the security to know right from wrong.
Douglas Clark i see her comment and yours. Games like guns are fine if supervised and taught. Some games are sick and not made for children, yet they get them anyway. This is as dangerous as keeping a loaded gun around a child that had no knowledge of the gun. We cannot tell others what is right and wrong. We can only show by example. Guns are needed in this world. For a variety of reasons. Dont let others fears dictate what you do. Teach your kids and set the example

Jacob, not cool blaming the video games. My son’s a genious and in the navy doing a job protecting you and me and the USA from playing those same video games you blame. This teenager was let down by the system. They ignored or did not follow up on this individual. There were signs that slapped them in the face.!! We need more training dealing with mental illness. I think if we up the age in buying a gun, that could possibly help. A human beings brain is not fully developed until age 25. Just sayin!!

Politicians don’t want to address tougher gun control laws, because they know most Americans will not allow their right to own a gun to be taken away. No matter how big the protest is, it will take years to come up with a solution, but the solution will not be to take away guns from law abiding citizens.
George William but the thing is, no one ever said they want to take away the rights of law abiding citizens to own guns. They simply want to do background checks, and make ot so that mentally unstable people, or people with violent histories, can’t legally purchase guns. And banning assault rifles. Does anyone need assault rifles to protect their property? Are they hunting with assault rifles?

Mister International that would be ideal, but statistically most guns are used by people who know people ( domestic cases are the majority or children of gun owners) taking illegal guns first would be a little like the war on drugs and we all know how well that’s going. Make it all illegal at the same time. You’ll always have illegal guns on the street usually used by dealers on dealers. We’re talking about the ease of obtaining a legal gun here they are the ones that do the most harm. I just read an article that it is harder to buy cough and anti diarrhea medicine than buy a gun in the state of Florida.

Rick Burrows No, I do agree that the ‘average joe’ should not have access to all and any weapons available. Although, if you read the U.S. constitution in it’s entirety non-stop, the language used would imply that civilians should have the same access to weaponry as the military. I’m certain they deliberately fell short of writing this in and kept it intentionally vague and open for interpretation because they didn’t know the pace at which weapons technology would advance. Therefore, some limitations are warranted, however outright confiscation of private property that was lawfully purchased is theft and cannot be tolerated for any reason. I am not a ‘gun nut’ or infatuated with firearms in any way, but my freedom and safety depends on my knowing that my trusty firearm is available to me should I need to defend myself, my loved ones and any innocent people within my power to do so. I have personally experienced the rage of being held helpless whilst inhuman soulless shitheels threatened my life for ~100$ worth of goods. It’s not an everyday occurrence, but it only takes one to end a life; that moment before your final breath is when there are no police officers and your life is in your own hands. And if properly armed, a potential victim could save their own life and prevent further violence against others as well. The issue here is not about the means one uses to commit acts of violence but the rationale behind it. ‘Gun control’ is only an attempt to treat the symptoms of a much greater societal dysfunction. Firearm ownership during the 50’s-70’s was much more prevalent than today, yet the number of similar tragedies were non-existent. How was this possible if guns are indeed the problem? Civilian access to firearms was not at all infringed upon in those days, any citizen could purchase fully automatic weapons with any desired caliber and yet ‘mass shootings’ were all but unheard of. This proves without a doubt that firearms are not the cause, and that we should be examining how people have been altered since then. Moreover, with or without legislation ‘gun control’ is neither the solution nor is it practical from the view of effective enforcement. Have you ever read all the laws there are in just your county? And what percentage are actually enforced? More useless legislation will only make law enforcement seem even more impotent and useless than it does already. Everyone loses with ‘gun control’ legislation.
This is what happens when you take God out of the equation. Being cool online is the best thing ever, I have now young adults but I rather have them home *schools are scary* even though we have security.. No kid should be on drugs ~ they need their parents ~ I see kids in islands who walk miles too get an education, mean while here they walk too a school with a weapon to kill because is the cool thing to do(?) what’s going on America the Great did you loose your Pride? This is the thing Society has gone downhill so far economy-wise that parents have to pick up two maybe three jobs in order just to survive and put food on the table for their children and because of that they don’t have time to sit down one-on-one with their child and teach them what they’re supposed to teach them and that’s why common sense is lacking with these new generations because these parents are relying more on the states and the schools to educate their children and they’re not giving them the right attention they need instead of giving them the right attention they need they just pulling them off to the TV or the tablet or any type of Technology because they’re so tired and don’t want to deal with it because they’re working so much just to survive all of this stems from the economy all the way to the states and the government because the government wants to dip their hands into everything you do with your child and they want to strip rights away and make it so the child is a child of the state and not of the individual parents or the community I remember back in the day the saying was it takes a community to raise a child while now everybody’s sheltered and disconnected and caring about themselves and not everybody else and Community has died so if you’re so scared about what’s going on with your children I suggest you homeschool them and figure out a way to make money from home and give them all the attention they need and by attention I don’t mean the bad attention like spoiling them and giving them what they want by attention I mean give them your full attention live in the moment teach them educate them give them a leg up when it comes to knowledge and Power in this world
I disagree, irrational fear isn’t a good replacement for common decency and respect for our fellow men and women. I’ve been through and rejected religion and everything that comes with them, and I’m not the problem….. Come on…. I’ve been a hardcore gamer for 27 years and I’ve had my fun with drugs too. I’ve never been arrested or committed a crime and I know the difference between right and wrong. If you think that drugs and video games are to blame, then I’m afraid it’s you that’s brain washed. But you go ahead and keep pointing the finger if it makes you feel better.
Ian Rose I apologize if you were offended, I too play video games. I am not saying that playing video games or smoking pot or…. is going to turn you into a killer. I’m saying that violence begets more violence and when you have a culture that is saturated in these types of things, real or imagined it is going to dull your sense of right and wrong. Absolutely disagree with you on gaming as a reason this stuff happens. I’ve been playing games since I was 10 and my dad brought home Atari. My boys and I all play video games, and never dreamed of committing crimes! The problem is poor parenting, kids not learning respect or boundaries, and putting kids on drugs for any and all reasons that can be dreamed up.
So to be fair you arent even close to disagreeing with me … you agree about parenting, media, and pharmaceuticals… you disagree about video games… then again you sound like a responsible parent which would be a huge plus, my 17 and 16 are competitive players but NOT having a parent who is present and engaged makes some games damaging… lets not forget Drones used by our goverment are operated by controllers designed like x box controllers … everything is a work… thanks for your input and hope you have a great week

They should protest on how states spend as lil money as they can on our schools and have no security for our children and start putting God back in our school system , letting kids pray for other kids and this might not of happened because he would find out that people who dont know him could love him
