  1. Kino ojalá hayan subtitulos en tus videos así entiendo lo que dices! Igual disfruto de ver tus vídeos! Buena vibra desde Argentina

  2. Could we get this girl a damn hair tie? Every video she’s twirling and flipping it out of the way. Just tie it up, sweetheart!

    • +Kimberly Howe Mmmh that’s only partly true. I’m a yoga teacher and I always wear my hair in a pony-tail or bun. If you have to lay down, then you just adjust the hair accordingly. It doesn’t at all make it impossible to do a reclined pose.

    • I’m a Yoga, Pilates, Barre and dance instructor as well. I didn’t say a ponytail made it impossible, I just stated it made it difficult or more challenging. I have very long hair. I very rarely wear my hair in a ponytail, because I can not lie flat comfortably. I usually put my hair in a side braid or some variation of one. Sometimes I’ve had my clips or hair ties break on me in the middle of class, I then have to improvise and use my tank top straps. It would be my hope that in these situations my students would over look the fact that my hair is malfunctioning and focus on the practice itself.

You’re damaging your hair and get split ends if you tie your hair every day. Facts don’t care about your feelings. Stops complaining her hair. I understand her feelings because I have long och healthy hair too. Nobody wants damaged hair. I don’t think you practice yoga everyday and you don’t care about your hair.

  3. Thank you very much for this beautiful and important video.
I added this video to my PLAYLIST YOGA FOR ALL LEVELS.

  4. Thank you so much. It is really a good explaination. I thought the center of the head is more important in weight balancing. Thank you Kino. And I love your hair untied : )

  5. To whoever is complaining about the hair, it’s virtually impossible to tie it up in one perfect way which would accommodate every pose. You’re either going to have to re-tie it often or just have it down like Kino does. Of course there is also the option of getting a really short boy cut but not many people would do that right?

  6. the fact that she can keep talking throughout this entire video is the most intense part cuz I’d either be focusing or running low on breath, but she’s in such amazing shape, it looks like she’s hardly affected

    • ErikaBaby I always have that thought how does she talk like nothing happening I get distracted even by people walking around that time

    • When you are teaching and talking, it’s actually easier to do “harder” poses……demoing becomes effortless…..Namaste

  7. Hair up or not, Kino is one of the most successful teachers in the yoga industry. When has hair ever hindered her amazing ability to guide those looking to learn in a relative and comprehensible manner? My opinion? She’s one of the best ashtanga yoga instructors out there. Thanks Kino for your videos!

  8. Such positive impact you have on many of your viewers. Great job you are doing. Please continue posting such videos… God bless.

  9. This technique is fine if you have great pike flexibility. My tight hamstrings prevent me from getting much past 90 degrees, even on my toes, so the physics don’t work. Although not as elegant and “pure” as this, the only way I can get into headstand is with bent knees.
