thanks a lot.
Beautiful! Do you mind sharing working on the final backbend when your finishing posture isn’t in at a convenient point to practice deep back bends afterwards? I used to able to catch my ankles after kapotasana but now I am stopping at dwi pada where my back feels more closed off. Should I still be attempting the full back bend sequence at this point even though my back doesn’t feel as open? Thanks! It was inspiring to go to your workshop in Seattle last April. Nearly a year ago already!
I’m working on that lower back bend each day now. My flexibility for the median 52 year old male is pretty decent, so I’m told, but I seem to have lost a lot of flexibility in my lower back. That arch you do when you back-bend into bridge is remarkable to me. I’m working diligently on learning to stand up from the bridge. Engaging the correct portion of the core is where my challenge lies. Thanks for the great videos. They really do help. Hopefully while you were in India, you found some new music for your classes. I myself really enjoy the Bombay Dub Orchestra. Check them out on here. Try “Amina” first as that’s shot in India. I just finished my session I do religiously after a seven mile run. Namaste my friend.
So beautiful, graceful and I LOVE the room- the fish eye lense adds to the beauty of the shot:-) I can only hope and dream that one day I will be able to back bend like this… lots of room to go.
♡ this!
