With candor and cunning, sex historian Kate Lister chronicles the curious journey of an ancient, honest word with innocent origins and a now-scandalous connotation in this uproarious love letter to etymology, queens, cows and all things "c***." (This talk contains mature language.)

C U Next Tuesday!
I have been arrested over 200 times for a different 4 letter word. The F word.
Well, 8 letters actually. The Fword followed by the other C word – COPS
I should add that the police have also paid me rather handsomely for their errors – their legal costs are literally in the millions.

A word worth spreading
Australia’s national profanity

Speaking of terms of endearment: a male friend of mine bought a car from another female friend (this was here in California btw), and the friend he bought the car from had an “enemy” who had keyed the word _”c*nt”_ in *huge* letters across the entire passenger side and again on the hood. He never bothered to try to remove the word, and instead from then on we all reverently referred to the car as: _”The C*nt.”_ lols
Nice man

Excellent.
Thanks for the new perspective
Brilliant!
Interesting, good job
