The global climate crisis will require us to transform the way we act, says His Holiness Pope Francis. Delivering a visionary TED Talk from Vatican City, the spiritual leader proposes three courses of action to address the world’s growing environmental problems and economic inequalities, illustrating how all of us can work together, across faiths and societies, to protect the Earth and promote the dignity of everyone. “The future is built today,” he says. “And it is not built in isolation, but rather in community and in harmony.”

Comment sections on youtube are in general terrible but TED brings some of the worst people on this site together. It’s scary.

@Piter But TED actually has the most sane comment sections on YouTube. I assume you’ve watched the most controversial TEDs with spicy discussions.
But, in general, the positive/neutral talks (there are more of them as opposed to the former) have interesting, if not outstanding statements made by viewers. Just an opinion if you don’t mind.

Fact: The Pope Is brave for being in this kind of line of comunication. Even I (an agnostic person) can see the Pope’s desire of make a mindset change with this kind of speech
