True. Though, we still don’t know about many things on Earth. The biggest being the ocean. But we certainly don’t know about a lot of planets. We don’t even really know if say Mars has a solid or liquid core? Or if water is down deep. But that’s why they sending more spacecrafts to space to find out.

What research has been done to measure the potential adverse effect of all these units using sonar on whales and other sonar sensitive sealife?

Came to the comments to say what everyone else is saying… There’s literally no way we know more about other planets than our own. If he actually believes that he is beyond ignorant, otherwise he is simply lying until someone foolish believes him and perpetuates the lie further.
A great idea like these ocean surface drones doesn’t(shouldn’t) need lies to support it.
I think he means there are more known knowns about other planets than known unknowns about ours. There certainly isn’t more knowledge about other planets than this one. How could that even be possible? We know so much about Earth that we know the extent of what we don’t know, but we know so little about other planets that we don’t even know how much more there is to know. Anyone who makes such a moronic statement is probably wrong about all his conclusions.
