Rabbi Lord Jonathan Sacks offers thoughts on how we can navigate the coronavirus pandemic with courage, hope and empathy. With uncommon wisdom and clarity, he speaks on the leadership, fear, death, hope and how we could use this moment to build a more just world. Watch for a special, impromptu prayer about halfway through the conversation. (This virtual conversation is part of the TED Connects series, hosted by head of TED Chris Anderson and head of curation Helen Walters. Recorded March 30, 2020)

Look how rich all these people are at the expense of our labor. They’re all in bed with each other. Follow the money folks it never lies
4 billion people not working because of 25 thousand deaths world wide. Ultra mega depression killing billions of people incoming. Enough food and resources for that not to happen. But not enough money. So we all die. The rich take it all, make a global digital currency and the new world order has arrived. People will say it’s temporary and everything will be fine. Retards.
Sometimes when you are in a dark place
You think you’ve been buried
But actually you’ve been planted
We all need to stay hopeful
And pray for all humanity
Abu. That is beautiful.
@Super Saber enjoy that feeling of superiority.
Super Saber you might be more successful in your quest if you weren’t so insulting by calling us sheep and fools. That’s an immediate turn off.
Abu Huraira I’ve passed this along to some friends. I hope you don’t mind. I did credit you as the author. Stay safe and healthy.
Thank you so very much! I needed that! #StaySafeAndSane from Europe!
When I heard the water droplet sound effect in the intro, I immediately thought:
WATER BREATHING

Corona Immunity
Welcome to the future
❤❤❤
Surgical masks don’t work in highly infected health worker situations . They need more .
High vibration from love
Mary Wright laughter helps as well. Singing often brings joy that also strengthens the immune system. Stay safe!
Thank you for giving me HOPE, today.
Why go through all those operations to stay alive, if he was man of faith?
Wow such a good conversation
Hey TED: thank you for all the amazing talks you publish. I just want to highlight research by Dr Rath, (The Rath Foundation) and his work on micronutrients and wellness. He also has good evidence for high dose vitamin C and the role it plays in fighting bacterial and viral attack.
I am a recently retired nurse and student naturopath and have good anecdotal evidence on the effectiveness foods in fixing arthritis, eczema, asthma and psoriasis. In relation to the Covid 19 issue I believe I had it in January, but have not been tested. I care for my Mum who is 90 and has lived with me since 1995, my husband has COPD from smoking for 40 years before he met me, and I have just purchased a nebuliser for his home use.
At least from this pandemic, we can learn onething that “The healthcare of Worldwide isn’t as good as we see”.
I hope Every President take and learn it as a best experience for the future.
Thank you for giving us such an amazing hope in times of our need. Thank you again
Thank you for this talk… there were many great insights. I will try to apply what I can 🙂
