Life can be unfair taking turns you wouldn’t have imagined throwing you in a place you were not ready to be. At this juncture, you feel you are done with life and all alone. You end up feeling sad and useless like you are neglected.

Hopefully there will be a race to be the first country / area to be totally green. EU and China are already in the locker room getting ready for a race but we need more than that! India and Africa have great benefit on not having “bad” energy so much yet but EU, the US have the money. China somewhere in between. Let the race begin!
The views and norms in India are conservative which will make it near impossible for much change to happen. Not saying being conservative is a bad thing because both sides have pros and cons. I think you might have to conceive a better plan that includes the views of the people and the government and think of solution they would accept. Or you can use this plan but maybe present it in a different way that they might like more.
It all takes time.

I hope India focuses soon on the importance of switching to clean energy, the rise is pollution here is massive, we have taken steps towards eco friendly automotives, but there’s a lot that needs to be done. The video is very informative and backed with good amount of research on the current situation of our country. Hoping for a change and every individual I believe should contribute towards change in any way possible.

Fossil fuels are used to mine the ingredients for making solar panels, and fossil fuels are used to manufacture the blades for windmills. Then there is the toxic waste produced by older solar panels. The real solution is nuclear power = zero emissions! And just imagine if we put a lot of money into how to better dispose of nuclear waste. Whereas devoting miles of land to put down solar panels means a lot of land can’t be used to grow food or put houses for people to live.

The problem with wind and solar is what do you do when you cannot meet the demand when it’s clam or cloudy? That’s when you need grid storage to get you over that hump. There is a solution next generation nuclear power.
