Maker intelligence is here, and we're already using it to make subjective decisions. However the complex way AI grows and improves makes it hard to comprehend as well as harder to manage. In this cautionary talk, techno-sociologist Zeynep Tufekci explains how smart makers can stop working in ways that don't fit human error patterns– and in methods we will not anticipate or be gotten ready for. "We can not outsource our obligations to devices," she states. "We must hold on ever tighter to human worths and human principles."
