What's the most transformative thing that you can do for your brain today? Exercise! says neuroscientist Wendy Suzuki. Get inspired to go to the gym as Suzuki discusses the science of how working out boosts your mood and memory — and protects your brain against neurodegenerative diseases like Alzheimer's.

But only the exercises for the adventages of people are effective :0
Damn… her passion…
Usman Shariat Amazing right?
It’s her brain on exercise steroids.
Good presenter
I just joined gym today, and then this came up in my notification… It’s destiny
Nah just a coincidence.
Mrs. Suzuki’s research is funded by the gym.
big data in combination with no restrictions on data collection and distribution by internet companies
welcome in the 21st century
Aditi Yadav Deterministic perspective… It’s a linear sequence of events…. so yeah.. destiny xD
All the great minds of the 20 th century were out of shape ……
Einstein went on walks very frequently
Kant too and Nietzsche explicitely says walkin in the mountain helped his health and boosted his creativity
If they were all in shape, they’d be in nightclubs, rap videos, and on speed dial of every career-obsessed cougar who just needs a quickie. E=MC2, would never have been discovered.
She nvr ask you to do exercises to transform your body but your brains!
Many of them did most of their important work when they were younger and in good shape.
Damn…thats deep! Looks like my workouts start today
That sounds good. Now let’s celebrate with Big Mac and soda. We’ll work out tomorrow.
mhtinla hahahaha good one
11:38 Let the video speed ×2.0 to see a freaking exercise.
lol funny man
But Stephen Hawking got no exercise and he was the smartest bloke on this planet.
Hippos exercise everyday in the campus, but they are not smart.
Sriram Vemuri You just violated the 1st rule of youtube comments: They aren’t supposed to be rational.
That’s because the disease prevented him from doing so, you can’t compare yourself to someone who is suffering from disease; it’s a completely different case.
Imagine if Hawking had exercised… We would’ve colonized the entire universe by now!
Clean your room, go to the gym, become a strong lobbster!
The lobsters that work out a lot eventually grow a brain evolve into Jordan Peterson.
Living like Larry!
ahahah I love this
How do I get an enthusiastic personality like that?
You work out
JUST DO IT
Nando N Try being enthusiastic? Wtf kind of question is this. Be who you want to be
Great Job Wendy!
Energetic speech…
Hmm… does this exursize thing she speaks of come in pill form?
Yes, but red or blue?
LMAO
LOLL
I think you can just have a catholic priest show up and throw drops of water at you while he yells something about powerlines compelling you or something. I think you get extra points if you projectile vomit on said priest. Best part, I think they work for free, though, I don’t know who is responsible for cleaning up the vomit/sick from the floor (maybe if you get good aim, you won’t get any on the floor and the point becomes moot).

Aren’t jocks supposed to be dumb and nerds supposed to be smart.
Power vacuuming? The feminists are gonna kill her for that suggestion !
Why would we do that? She made no implication of vacuuming being specific to women. You’re the sexist one for immediately assuming she was aiming that remark at women. There’s no reason why men can’t do power vacuuming. Think before you say (or type)✌️
You’re presumptive for thinking a woman doesn’t like to vacuum
You hate men for inventing tools to make traditional women’s lives easier
You’re dumbfounded for making assumptions about my assumptions
You are discriminatory against multi-taskers who think AS they type
You’re a brutal totalitarian dictator for telling others what do to
You think everything is political
You’re…. easily triggered
Bethan never said a woman doesn’t like to vacuum, nor that they hate men. It appears you still cannot think before you type.
Feminist here. My thought was, damn, she’s got that right.
I’m a man. I vacuum — especially The Fuzz off of the floor.
Moved to a new city to start my bachelors degree. Didn’t immediately get a new gym membership and in no time half a year had gone by and I hadn’t moved a muscle. I was miserable, struggled with studies and was playing with the thought of killing myself again. Yesterday I went to the gym, did deadlifts (my favourite exercise) among other things. Poof, all the negative feelings and thoughts went away and today I feel I’ve so much more energy.
You don’t need a gym. You can work out anywhere.
I can totally relate to this. I’ve come to understand that for some of us exercise is truly an urgent matter or life and death. Stick with it and I wish you well in your education.
I adore this woman.
