  1. I burned out from healthcare. I am a people pleasure, continued to take on additional projects, could not say no. I was then used until I could no longer function.

  2. I have never been to Africa but I am sure that it is not a wise move to run from a lion! Rats and bats… Oh my! Love and truth is the answer.

  3. This says a lot about the work culture nowadays. If your burning yourself out to make someone rich then your making your quality of life poor. That includes business owners. We need to completely overhaul how work is done.

  4. This was great. I really liked the point about how biologically, we need more than “self” care. We aren’t meant to live independently and forcing ourselves into dealing with life alone is what leads us to burning out. Our brains aren’t wired that way, everyone needs help and thats great! Thank you for sharing, really eye opening stuff.

  5. I used to deal with stress by cleaning my house (often dancing while cleaning my house) or walking (did it once or twice a day and always used the stairs and walked to talk with people versus using the phone). Then, I became disabled with ME/CFS where physical activity actually makes me sicker. What a kick in the pants.

  6. For what I am currently through right now, the timing of this could not have been more perfect

    Thank you for this!!!!!!!!!!!

  7. Everytime I’m stressed out I will walk for hours on end in my house or my room and also talk about the issue to myself until I’m finally done with the issue, is this one of the ways to deal with the stress.. Because I feel like I’m talking it out in a way.
