"Most of what we send into outer space never comes back," says astrodynamicist and TED Fellow Moriba Jah. In this forward-thinking talk, Jah describes the space highways orbiting earth and how they're mostly populated by space junk. Learn more about his quest to develop and scale the world's first crowdsourced space traffic monitoring system — and how it could help solve the debris problem in near-earth space.

Amazed to see from where does TED X find these kind of people?
Does it have access to #AREA51
I think its all done via-via
oh? on jah?
WAIT! jah’s what?!
This is one of those fringe things that a lot of people probably don’t totally grasp the importance of, but I think it’s important to get a handle on this before it becomes a real problem which in undoubtedly will in the near future. Great talk with lots of knowledge and enthusiasm.
Maybe if more people knew about the entire tool bag dropped by Heidemarie Stefanyshyn Piper ………. but then that wouldn’t fit with TED’s feminism narrative would it?
Well this sounds like a UAP hunters dream and the shadoe goverments worst fear. GET IT GOING ASAP!
Thank You , God Bless!
Very excellent presentation that I’ve posted on several occasions in Facebook and LinkedIn. We should think and act to NOT let our near-space end up useless for many decades to come.
there is going to be some idiot on youtube who decides that its time to release like 10 pounds of sand into orbit
Just like the Oceans looks like a garbage . What is wrong with this spices we are killing the planet and every thing in it… Go humans !!
we need waste mitigation in space. go up there and collect the trash find a way to remove and dispose it.
Sounds like we need a crowd sourced trash pick up in space…
Intergalactic waste management or janitors in space!
Good work .. 🙂 Humans are polluting everywhere.
Yup, so much garbage that we won’t be able to leave our planet! Wtf is wrong with us! We pollute so much, that space is messed up too!
