As CEO of the Global Fund for Women, Musimbi Kanyoro works to support women and their ideas so they can expand and grow. Women’s suffrage is the right of women to vote in elections. What freedoms have women’s right to vote removed? The freedom of males to control them all the time?
I’m pretty sure that you would prefer women to stay confined to domestic sphere, doing unpaid labor and being financially dependent on a man but fortunately the world has changed a lot in the past centuries so I guess you will have to get used to the idea that women donn’t exist to serve you.
My mom couldn’t spend time with me growing up because she had to work and I’m very proud of her for that.

I didn’t like or dislike the video until I finished watching. It’s a good job too! I was liking it until it started getting all sexist about halfway through. How quickly that message of we are all human was pushed out of the way.

Flower Power doesn’t understand what equality is. It means having the same things. Not being better or equall to one another. equality means treating eachother as equalls and getting equall chances.
Looking at history men have accomplished more than woman, but that doesn’t mean anything. Just because some men did something great, doesn’t mean anything for the gender. Those were individuals that helped humanity a step forward. All that matters is that everyone is treated equally and gets equall chances, so every individual can accomplish great things. Comparing a gender to another is for small minded people.

Serious question: why is it always “invest in women” or “The future is female” why can’t it just be “invest in our children” or “the future belongs to everyone”. Feminists love preaching about the inclusion of everyone but all I see is hypocrisy. I’m sure they wouldn’t be too happy if the title said “To solve the world’s problems invest in men and boys”. Why can’t we just empower everyone to pursue their dreams regardless of gender or race?
