Vegetarianism is one of the megatrends of the future. We will build a truly compassionate world only when we stop killing animals for food.
A wise Indian sadhu once said that when we eat meat we convert our body into a coffin.
Sorry, but I have to disagree on this one. Many ancient civilizations that word band spiritually eat meat. Native Americans, Eskimos, Man, and a Gyptian’s. They did eat me the differences they respected it. Acknowledge the life transfer and allowed energy to combine and become part of the universe again.vs the suckoceans we keep our food animals in now which is sick and makes poor energy. They used everything on the animals as well. Big difference
There’s a rationale for eating everything including meat. It’s fine if we eat sparingly and not every day. Twice a week is enough. Men have been eating meat from the time this world came into existence. However a man’s body has been designed by the Creator such a way that a person can survive on any kind of diet. Not every food is available everywhere. So people eat whatever is available. If he doesn’t eat meat doesn’t mean the world should stop eating meat. It’s not cruel because they are killed in a way that they don’t feel pain.
