The stock market is doing well because small businesses are not on the stock market. What we have seen during this crisis is the local stores are shut down but target and Walmart can stay open. They are immune to the restrictions for some reason. Crazy how we allow the government to hand out this “essential business” title and make that decision for us. Meanwhile consolidate money to the large companies by shutting down small business, you defeat their competition so of course their profits will go up. It’s government favoritism
