I don’t know WTF fluffy bunny is on about. I’m in a gun club and you can’t just go and “get a gun” with a quick course. It takes months of being in a club, then a recommendation from the club, a stat dec from the police after 6 months minimum and a full background check, and that’s just to complete your application.
Getting one that STAYS on the farm for pest control is different and that’s a limited type and again travel rules apply etc… Just like a normal gun licence.
We have some of the toughest laws in the world. And whilst I personally don’t have any issues with guns at all, I’m still GLAD we have our laws as they stand. I think it has made for a better community on the whole. Either that or we have just been lucky over the last 40 years and our murder rates compared to population growth haven’t gone spastic or changed much and are still quite low.
