Literally every cartoon, every show, every movie and every commercial makes men, especially white men out to look like morons. This had made itleast two generation’s of women who think that they are Disney princesses and men owe them everything.

My husband and I decided when our daughter was 4 that she could no longer watch Disney TV shows bc of how all the fathers were portrayed as basically big kids. They screwed everything up while the moms had everything under control and treated their husbands like children. We decided we didn’t want our daughter to get that impression about men in general, much less her own father, and now that she’s 13 I think that was, indeed, a smart decision.
It is refreshing to see so many ppl commenting on this, sometimes it feels like you’re the only sane person left in the world, so it’s nice to see that there are a few left! Thx everyone!

We never had cable. And our television pretty much collected dust. I will tell you it really makes for different types of kids. I should write a book on it because the difference is unbelievable.
That’s good. My daughters are not allowing their children to watch tv. I’ve also told my daughters that one child only replaces one parent, and that they need to have more. I had 4 kids.
