HOMEMADE BANANA ICE-CREAM RECIPE:
2 frozen bananas, cut into thirds
1-2 tablespoons unsweetened almond milk (or any milk you prefer)
1-2 teaspoons maple syrup, honey, or monk fruit
Pop bananas into a blender or food processor and blend until the bananas have a smooth and creamy consistency (just like ice cream). Depending on how powerful your blender or processor is, your bananas may clunk around a bit at the beginning BUT just give them a minute. Once they start to break down, they turn into this lovely, creamy treat.

If you want, you can skip the milk addition altogether, but I like to add a little in. I usually use just a tablespoon or two along with the maple syrup. Blend until thick and creamy. Enjoy!

NOTES
Storage recommendation: If you happen to have any banana ice cream leftover, simply store it in an airtight container in the freezer. It will keep in the freezer for up to 3 months. Before enjoying, thaw at room temperature until slightly softened.

I make this all the time its deliciousss no need to add any maple syrup or anything if your bananas are brown.
Agreed!! All you really need is frozen bananas!
Absolutely sweet enough some times i add caoco powder very delicious
Nice healthy ice cream
I remember when you first posted this and have made so many different varieties since. I am glad you came out with another video for the people who have maybe not tried it. So delicious and something you can feel good about. Thanks for all you do.
Why haven’t I tried this yet? I will and a great way to use up old bananas.
I’ve tried mint chocolate chip nice cream before, but this is inspiring me to do vanilla. I can’t wait to try this!
Can’t wait to try this … thanks for sharing
This is my go to when craving a sweet treat in the summer! I like to add unsweetened flaked coconut and walnuts to mine…sometimes peanut butter…other times I’ll add cacao powder to make it less “banana tasting”. I’ve also found coconut milk full fat (just a little) makes it really creamy.
I also love your breakfast cookies!
This is one of my fav recipes you’ve posted Dani. Sometimes I add 2 heaping TBSP of PB Fit (powdered, fat-removed peanut butter) to it – so, so yummy, quick and easy treat!
I never thought of adding the maple syrup, sea salt, and vanilla extract to the frozen bananas. I couldn’t find the link to your ebook below, can you list it again? Thnx.

This looks so good — how much peanut butter powder would add to this? Thought it might be a great brunch for a hot summer weekend.
I would start with a couple of tablespoons and then taste and adjust!
I made an ice cream once, and it was rock hard like stone, And so difficult to scoop out? Does this recipe make it easy for the ice cream to scoop out after directly taking it out of the freezer? Ive read its also good to add gin, as alcohol reduces the freezing point of the ice cream.
Thank you so much Dani, I love this ice cream. My husband loves it too. I will try the food processor and that will help getting even servings. Love your shows and your weight loss tips. Fantastic recipes also. ❤️
I have made this with a little coconut cream and it makes it creamier.
This looks fantastic! Can’t wait to try!
