  1. Have you ever thought about starting a gratitude journal?! In this video I share how + why you might want to consider it. I’ve been keeping a gratitude journal for years, and it really helps me to stay in a positive mindset (most of the time). Would love to hear your thoughts. XO – Dani

  2. Hi Dani, I have tried a gratitude journal where each day you write everyday 10 to 50 things you are grateful for. It seems like everyday I was writing the same things just to be writing something. Needless to say that didn’t last long. I like your way, grateful for 1 thing with 5 reasons you are grateful for it. I’m going to try this method. Thanks. MJ

    • That’s EXACTLY what happened to me Mary + so I felt like I was just going through the motions and not actually FEELING the gratitude. This technique works so much better for me. I can’t wait to hear what you think.

  3. I already wrote one of these to myself, it was beautiful but hardly lived up to the glorious subject. I am also planning another grander one soon. I am worth it.

  4. A lot of people still have to be in survival mode from people who intend to harm them or kill them. I do like what you have to say otherwise.

  5. Yummy!! I can’t wait to try this. I love your channel you always inspire me to eat better. And you are so informative. TFS

  6. I had seen you mention this in another video and started doing it this year! I do it as soon as I wake up. It’s been an interesting practice so far and does make a change in how I feel about the day – although I tend to forget by night time and might need another reminder lol

  7. I try to write in a journal everyday. It gives me a look on what is going on in my life and what steps i need to make in order to be less stress for. I usually write in my journal at the end of the day where I can relieve the stress of the day.

  8. Gratitude Journal: Practice gratitude and Daily Reflection – 1 Year/ 52 Weeks of Mindful Thankfulness with Gratitude and Motivational quotes

  9. I love writing to become aware of emotions and be more grateful. I am not particularly writing a gratitude journal but just journal in general where I stop and look for things I am gratitude. I am so grateful every time I take a hot shower, every time I go shopping for groceries, etc. Journaling is so important to me in so many ways.

  10. Thanks as always Dani for your feeding us in so many ways. I have been focusing so much on my health and finding ways to nurture it, that I have been remiss in my gratitude practice. Every day I wake up, the first thing I do is sit up in bed, take a deep breath and thank God I am here. But what you’re suggesting sounds like so much FUN!! I’m going to start it!

  11. These are great tips on doing a gratitude journal! I’m familiar with listing five things we’re grateful for but listing why we’re grateful for the things on our list does take us deeper into our gratitude! Great idea!
