Happy Monday! Sharing some weight loss motivation for those working on their health and weight loss goals. Looking forward to your thoughts and questions :). The Don’t Diet opens again soon, hope to see you there – > https://thedontdiet.com/
A person should set his goals as early as he can and devote all his energy and talent to getting there. With enough effort, he may achieve it. Or he may find something that is even more rewarding. But in the end, no matter what the outcome, he will know he has been alive.
So much wisdom here… love this 🙂
This comes at the perfect time! I was just saying to myself this morning “What’s the point” when it comes to a healthy lifestyle. Everything is at a plateau right now. Thank you, Dani, for helping me to stay on track. I appreciate you!☺
I appreciate you too, Sarah! Stay the course…. take a break if you need to, but stay with you! XO
@Clean & Delicious I will! Thank you for your encouragement!☺
Couldn’t agree more with you!! I’m with you 1000%!!!
So glad this one resonated! Thanks for sharing 🙂
Thank you Dani! I needed this
It’s my pleasure, Nadia. Thanks for watching.
My therapist recently told me the reason you quit is because you set unrealistic expectations. We all do this because our society has conditioned us to believe everything is quick, but success takes a lot of hard work and time. Now I am giving myself more realistic goals and it helps.
That is a really helpful tip! Thank you for sharing 🙂
Im having trouble gaining weight. I eat so much food but with no results.
Dani, Dani, DANI!! Wow! You really topped yourself with this “lesson”, and I loved every minute of it! Funny how sometimes, certain things just show up at the right time, isn’t it? I will absolutely add today’s tips to my “jump start” for this Spring, anda mazing year ahead. The “being kind and gentle to yourself” is HUGE, and so very important, OMG! I appreciate very much your tip regarding, when necessary, give yourself a break, and then get back into the groove… How long one goes for a break, and how often, can be quite defeating if not kept in check, don’t you think? I can’t help but wonder, what constitutes a bonafide break, and how close to “giving up” this would, or could be. Any thoughts to expand on this one important element would be quite helpful to all, I’m sure. Stay healthy, you look fab, and stay Blessed, and THANK YOU, Craiger. P.S. I am also taking your good, very kind words here, and incorporating them towards my new move to a new real estate company… I took a leap of faith, uncomfortable as it may be, but was like, why not? After the usual suspects (negative thoughts, what ifs, etc.) I can’t help but think, and certainly owe it to myself to instead, say to myself, “Okayyy, what IF I should succeed, what IF I do produce results, etc…” Reminds me of my FAVORITE quote, by tennis great, Arthur Ashe: “Start where you are. Use what you have. Do what you can.” Cheers
Great thoughts, Craig! Thanks for sharing. As for the break… ask yourself… what feels right. And also remember, when we give ourselves permission to take a break – there’ no going into F-it mode because we are not quitting and beating ourselves up. Make sense?
This is just what I needed to hear today. I’ve been struggling to manage, not only weight-loss, but college, finances and my disease. I feel like this can be applied to many aspects of someone’s life.
Thank you for making videos that are realistic and educational. It really shows that you care about the well-being of others. ♥️
It’s my pleasure! I’m so glad the videos are helpful. Thanks for watching and for sharing.
I know this is about weight loss, but it’s so helpful for me to apply to other areas of my life. Thank you!
I agree! It really applies to any goal you may have.
Thanks Dani, this was very insightful.
So glad to hear that! Thanks for watching.
I like to add a tip. Try to find stuff to keep you busy and occupy your time without it involving food. So you sleep for 8 hrs, keep busy for 8 hrs (at work maybe) that leaves 8 hrs to eat a meal or 2. Eat clean and stay busy. It works!
