54 Comments on High Protein Veggie Salad! FullyRaw Vegan Recipe!

  1. Absolutely delicious! I’m still asking the same question though, as you’ve always said you don’t need a protein supplement when eating your fruits and veggies, so why add a protein powder to your diet? Just curious, after so many years of saying it’s not necessary!

    • I actually really love the taste of Sunwarrior! And there aren’t many raw vegan ones out there. That’s why I use it daily and also as a protein supplement to help me build extra muscle since I am changing my workout routine a bit. The chocolate flavor is my fav. Hope this helps!

You didn’t ask me either, but wanted to add…
I did it for two reasons. I love the taste and the texture it adds to my smoothies. But, the real reason is I just can’t eat enough like Kristina does.
I am almost 50 and my appetite is vastly different now. I need to supplement.

  2. Is there any chance you can say how much protein is in the salad plus how many serving sizes are there too. Oil please on top of it.

  3. you can eat green beans raw now? 😮 and asparagus? or did she just heat everything below 46° degrees celsius.. i am really interested to know this if anyone does know.

    • Green beans and asparagus raw are delish. Try shaving the asparagus ona mandelin if biting in to them raw seems a bit much. Toss them in and orange and fennel vinaigrette, and whooowee!

    • Curly Chef, yeah, I don’t know about that one..although, I did once make falafels using only soaked chickpeas, but they were baked after rolling them in the ball.

    fresh oregano leaves
    any other desired herbs

    _Avocado Citrus Fennel Dressing_
    ~blend until smooth and creamy~
    1-2 large ripe avocados
    1 cup orange or
    1 large peeled navel orange
    1 large fennel bulb
juice of 2 lemons or limes
    pinch of Himalayan salt
    any other desired herbs
(sage, oregano, rosemary, parsley, or basil)
~optional: raw shelled hemp seeds (for more protein)

    • Some people, especially those who are new to this way of eating…need (of feel they need) mord protein to stat satiated enough. Just my two cents!

    • Thank you. Perfect comment. No healthy human will ever have a lack of protein. Only the ones who starve themselves haven´t enough protein, but they haven´t enough of all minerals and vitamins. I´m also tired of that protein lie.

    • Terror cat, an herbalist named dr sebi who cured aids and cancer says that there is no such thing as protein and vitamins, and that the body desires only minerals and electrical charge from our food

  5. Kristina this looks delicious but please emphasize that raw chickpeas need to be soaked for minimum 24 hours to reduce toxins. It is best for anyone watching this who is not fully raw to make this recipe with cooked chickpeas as many people, myself included, feel very ill on even thoroughly soaked raw beans and legumes

  6. Whenever you say something is high in something or low in something, I wish you would give us the information on chronometer or something. High protein may mean different things for different viewers. It would be nice for you to include the protein amount and amino acid ratios. Just a thought

  7. It’s not the first time I hear people pronouncing “Bon appétit” including the last T, when it’s supposed to be silent…
But the salad is good! I can’t wait to try it! ❤️
