Danielle Wood leads the Space Enabled research group at the MIT Media Lab, where she works to tear down the barriers that limit the benefits of space exploration to only the few, the rich or the elite. She identifies six technologies developed for space exploration that can contribute to sustainable development across the world — from observation satellites that provide information to aid organizations to medical research on microgravity that can be used to improve health care on Earth. "Space truly is useful for sustainable development for the benefit of all peoples," Wood says.

These guys keep pushing tech that will help human kind to live better, but has it really? All I’ve seen and experienced are the elites hording tech for themselves such as medical and releasing slowly to profit from misery.
Seriously, we just need to solve global problems first before anything else. Case in point, why the heck is there still global human slavery still?? and why is Africa still a basket case??

Look up pictures of mission control it’s all computers, they use cameras to see what’s going on, telecommunication to stay on contact, in the beginning they had to use math, science technology to figure out fuel etc..

Ever since at least 1980, We the People of planet Earth have had the capability of providing the highest quality of food, the highest quality of clothing, the highest quality of shelter, the highest quality of healthcare, and the highest quality of education for each and every man, woman and child on the face of the Earth, and to do it in such a way that was in Harmony with Nature.
We already have gazillions of practical creative solutions. What we don’t have here in the USA is at least 80 million individuals who are well-informed, free of disinformation and misinformation, on all the major issues of today AND devoting their time, energy, resources, and talents to the political process to make sure that only the most Loving/most Wise among us become our public servants.
Then and only then will we be in a position to actually implement them on a grand scale and finally begin the process of transitioning to a Whole New Way of Living rooted in Love and Wisdom, with little or no need for government.
