My quest to defy gravity and fly | Elizabeth Streb

Over the course of her fearless career, extreme action specialist Elizabeth Streb has pushed the limits of the human body. She's jumped through broken glass, toppled from great heights and built gizmos to provide a boost along the way. Backed by footage of her work, Streb reflects on her lifelong quest to defy gravity and fly the only way a human can — by mastering the landing.

  1. Physics is one of the primary reasons we don’t fly

This individual is now telling us we can do it if we believe which means Fax don’t mean anything reality is set aside it’s about achieving things without using science
Now it makes sense she’s a performance artist little wacky little strange I don’t understand why she’s on Ted
She seems to put her own name in the same sentence with newton very telling

  2. *Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.*

  3. so i just wasted like 9,15 minutes of my life on watching a video that was supposed to hype me up about stuff that lets the human fly but this is acrobatics

  4. Falling does not defy gravity and is not flying.
Bungee jumping does not defy gravity and is not flying.
Hanging by a rope around your waist does not defy gravity and is not flying.
I thought TED was better than clickbaits.

  5. “It was clear to me and to Newton”…. Welllll that escalated quickly. After that: “you shouldn’t take yourself so seriously” hahahha
    Keep dreaming lil girl
    **Pops narcissistic bubble**
