Think you know how your body works? Think again! Dr. Jen Gunter is here to shake up everything you thought you knew — from how much water you need to drink to how often you need to poop and everything in between. Men are so freakin lucky
There just spoiled, because they couldn’t make it without “Woman”, So God created them one. Yes they are lucky.
@SpaztasticSheep sometimes, i also wonder what it would feel like to be a female but i just can use my brain and imagination and stuff. The thing becomes bad when u are born into the wrong family or to some real idiot parents who can’t understand u and take care of u, etc. If u r in a good family and with supportive parents then u should be privileged and be thankful for that. I would consider/like to be a female only if that parents would be supportive and smart enough !!

@SpaztasticSheep Men experience menopause too you know.
I wonder if your experiences going thru puberty can indicate how hard menopause will hit…
My OBGYN told me that it’s more like post partum when your period stops…I was a total mess after my first born
Ahhhhhh!!!!! This was awesome BUT I need more and consistent please. We transition folks don’t have a good guide to help us through all this. Any ideas of resources that can help like a conversation. Read the books but it was sooooo much more helpful to hear it and see a woman explain!!
I would counter that there is a lot to fear about ” reverse puberty ,” one symptom being Menopause in woman . Its just that some people prefer there aging process to be sugar coated and who can blame them ..
Time to be adult.
Glad to learn what happens when I transition to female.
Trans females are females
It… It doesn’t… Ok, nevermind
This will not happen as you aren’t a real female. I am sorry to say the truth.
It’s all fun and trolling the TED comment section until you realise there are actually many deranged trans identified males who think they experience actual menstruation, so why not menopause too? What a time to be alive.
I’m really liking these videos from Dr. Jen Gunter. Keep ’em coming!
This is a bit sugar coated. Hot flashes and not being able to sleep is horrid, especially when I had to still go to work in the morning. It included a mental decline. Weight issues started. It charges your physical appearance with graying hair (which I don’t mind)..Changes relationships at work & home. Changes sleep patterns. Chocolate, wine & coffee made symptoms FAR worse. Had to research to find that info. The process Lasted 10 years which isn’t talked about.. And after this is when breast cancer occurred, for me which I’m pretty sure was hormone related. So personally I’d rather have kept having periods. Menopause is NOT a piece of cake.
What led to this video being taken down and re-uploaded?
We really should start disambiguating between male/female and man/woman
Sorry Jen but you’re not my favorite obgyn.
Oh no, Dr Jen mentioned the “W” word. Cancel culture coming for the Doc who will be packing shelves at Walmart soon.
Since I was a student in university I dreamed of having a clinic focused exclusively on menopause and educating people about it. It’s such a taboo in many countries and societies. Like this woman says, life doesn’t end when we get into menopause, it’s another stage of life. I’m 35 now, and I promise one day I’ll have my clinic with specialist to educate and give the right therapy and help to actually learn to accept and make the best of this part of our lives as women when we get to it.
This lady is awesome.
